Okay, I'm optimistic that First Solar's blowout and the pending IPO of Sunrun will be decent catalysts for the rest of the week. We'll see - I'm pretty consistently wrong...
I think Monday's trading will be telling. If this was a "shakeout" and we steady or rebound Monday, awesome. If this continues into Monday, probably not so good.
I agree. I prefer Sunpower to SunEdison, and there's definitely room for both. But, if SunEdison pulls it off, they're going to be a giant company.
Seriously. It's sort of hard to remember that a couple years ago, Sunpower consistently traded 3-5 million shares each session.
So, do you think a run-up to First Solar earnings? Or do you expect churning until some sort of news (like FSLR earnings)?
It did break through $28.50 (sort of) in the end... it just did it twice (once each way).
Thanks. That's what I'd thought, but I was looking at the wrong timeline of chart to see it. Hopefully the market's modest recovery from lows and momentum from this week give Sunpower another push this afternoon.
I think whoever said Wall Street didn't get their quarterly was right.
Thanks for the response. It is nice to be the leader (in the trading) for once - Sunpower is certainly a leader where it counts.
What is the "cross of death?"
