Wow, do a little research. The Quaker Oats Company bought Snapple for $1.7 billion in 1994. The company ran into problems and sold it to Triarc in 1997 for $300 million. Triarc sold it to Cadbury Schweppes for $1.45 billion in September 2000. It was spun off in May 2008 to its current owners.
You can not tell your broker to not loan your shares. Look at what you signed when you opened your account.
You say you own the stock and yet you call the people that own the stock sackholders? Yep, you don't really own the stock. You are just another short trying to look like a frustrated long. LOL, you do realize that no one here invests or changes investment stratigies based upon your posts. Some here have million dollar port's and I seriously doubt your opinion even amounts to an ant fart in a hurricaine.
lol, if it happens and you bought stock, then you will end up in prison. Ever hear of insider info?
I was selling puts yesterday, and covered them too quick. Covered at 25¢ and could have covered at 2¢
I also sold calls yesterday and hope to let them expire worthless. I say we close out the week around $65-$68. Any other predictions?
Go for a run or a long walk. Go ride a bike. Why?????
1. Reduce stress. Rough day at the office? Take a walk or head to the gym for a quick workout. One of the most common mental benefits of exercise is stress relief. Working up a sweat can help manage physical and mental stress. Exercise also increases concentrations of norepinephrine, a chemical that can moderate the brain’s response to stress. So go ahead and get sweaty — working out can reduce stress and boost the body’s ability to deal with existing mental tension. Win-win!
2. Boost happy chemicals. Slogging through a few miles on the ‘mill can be tough, but it’s worth the effort! Exercise releases endorphins, which create feelings of happiness and euphoria. Studies have shown that exercise can even alleviate symptoms among the clinically depressed . For this reason, docs recommend that people suffering from depression or anxiety (or those who are just feeling blue) pencil in plenty of gym time. In some cases, exercise can be just as effective as antidepressant pills in treating depression. Don’t worry if you’re not exactly the gym rat type — getting a happy buzz from working out for just 30 minutes a few times a week can instantly boost overall mood.
3. Improve self-confidence. Hop on the treadmill to look (and more importantly, feel) like a million bucks. On a very basic level, physical fitness can boost self-esteem and improve positive self-image. Regardless of weight, size, gender, or age, exercise can quickly elevate a person's perception of his or her attractiveness, that is, self-worth . How’s that for feeling the (self) love?
Not a chance....we are topping out on this and time to ring the register. People will not pay more.....they kinda hit the top with price increases and we will see next Q if the price increases hold. People show up once and see that prices have increased....they go ahead and eat, but then they do not go back. I no longer go to CMG because I am not willing to pay $25 for lunch....I can get lunch for 1/2 that price and get the same quality.
Yep, if I had made millions....then I would be gone to a beach.
They are unwinding....Shorts are buying back shares. This trip to $3.50 was a temp trip and look for return to $4 very very soon. Sell puts now and buy stock.
LOL, there are people that know when the short was put on.....however, you are not one of them. Seriously, you give yourself way too much credit.
Sold the $3.50 calls when stock was at $4 and sold the $3.50 puts when stock went below $3.5 yesterday. I also own stock.....so I think I am sitting in a nice place...set to collect some free monies from the options I sold.
