You don't see what the ct is for and no idea about today's price action, but somehow you have figured it all out about the buyout.
You really need to read Jasons article from SA.
But I'm not just accepting his valuation model, I've also owned stock in PDLI and both are essentially the same pure value plays with similar financial comparisons.
Of course the amount of future dividend payouts will have some say on the pps but when you have no future pipeline of drugs to add value investors will not award you a very high pe. Most dividend paying stocks do not have very high pe's
And look at those non dividend paying stocks like LNKD with sky high pe and little earnings.
The market is forward looking and looking for growth in earnings potential.
Don't get me wrong as I am in POZN long and never short any stocks, but I'm a very conservative investor and I don't like to bs fellow investors.
I honestly don't see anyone paying 10$ for this company's stock and would be very happy if someone would give me more.
Looked like some fund mgr. took some profit after seeing the big run up Friday.
Happens often on big holiday run ups.
But I think we will bounce back and maybe end the day around 9.50
It will never get to 20$.
If the fundamentals ever look that good this would get picked up before then , probably for a lot less.
But a company with no future pipeline essentially becomes a dividend play or a buyout candidate.
So many interesting possibilities down the road, it's gonna be hard to know when to ever get off the boat..
Certainly doesn't seem like a stock to bother trading.
Long and strong!
Yep! It looks like they have been living high on the hog with investors money for the past 25 years.
So even when they do get something approved it will take years just to unload the debt, and I can't see where they will ever turn a profit.
Too much debt.
Too many shares.
Could be a good trading stock to unload on suckers.
Isn't the 15% US taxes you pay deductible from the 25% European tax ?
From my experience, that's the way it works for Americans investing in European stocks.
I haven't seen anyone post any Citron information, just a bunch of allegations.
If anyone has any facts, please post from Citron report.
Seems like Citron knows something the govt with all their resources do not.
No charges filed after a year of investigations.
What's your argument?
Everything depends on why people get in this stock.
In the beginning , when people get a divy many will usually sell after.
As the company develops a record of paying an increasing dividend over time the selling becomes less and less. At some price point the big money comes in to scoop all those shares and you get a price recovery up to a point.
Just expect volatility to occur and prepare to buy and or sell if your a short term trader or one looking to add , as I am.
I'm not sure any of us will know the story until it is written.
So just as any gambler does , we place our bets.
Chapter 1 is looking pretty good, so do you want to buy the book?
