Go get em sdrl.
I am holding all my sharers to.
I wouldn't be surprised to see sdrl eventually declare a special div. of say, 4 dollars or so, just to perk up the appetite for investors. They did it with Frontline. And what a day that would be.
My timeline is a bit longer than some would hope for, but the outcome should be the same.
Rigs shutting down are land based.
Haven't heard of any sea based shutting down.
Make sure you differentiate when you read about rigs shutting down.
I'm no expert on these things.
Just a very long term investor in the market.
My problem with this pipeline thing, other than the environmental issues is also the refining end.
We have been told for years that part of the high cost of gas to consumers was due to the lack of refining capacity because no new refineries have been built in this country for decades.
Now I haven't heard of any plans to build refineries on the gulf coast to refine this heavy crude, and I've been under the impression that it would be exported to someplace like India for refining.
What they have been doing or talking of doing is loading on tankers off the Canadian West coast and shipping elsewhere.
I just have not heard that the refined crude would supply this country to any degree worth risking the potential of an environmental impact if problems arise.
Republicans have not convinced me otherwise.
Buyout offer next.
What do ya think?
I wonder how many would cash in if he offered 25$ a share, right now?
Another conspiracy theory. ( laughing )
Hey, but who knows what evil lurks in the minds of men.
At this point it's all a matter of conjecture.
So, you do what you gotta do.
Myself, I'll side with Tong and Jf on where this is going.
When they bail, i bail.
Too big a move in stock price to be speculation.
It's fine when it works in your favor, but confusing when it doesn't .
I hope the SEC takes a look, just to make everyone play by the same rules.
I'm long ACRX.
I've been telling you folks for years that cat is a good for nothing low life corporation, really not much different than Enron as far as business strategy goes.
One only need look at how deplorable they have done their workforce over the years.
112% owned by them, so be careful as they will try and make it look like this has bottomed to lure you in, and then will drop it further.
That's how the game is played on Wall St.
I've noticed the same thing.
They say it's the switch to summer blends.
And it's the strikes at a number of refineries.
And a fire or two at others.
And we don't have enough refinery capacity.
And Obama won't let us drill , drill , drill.
You're right they are ripping us off at the pump.
