I am not an Atmel pumper or hypster. I have genuine concerns about Atmel especially concerning Windows 8. I, like several others, wish I had sold at $16. But NOOOOOOOOOO I had to listen to the Atmel pumpers then and wanted to wait till $20. You damn pumpers.
I have 42,000 shares of Atmel, 30,000 I bought at $0.78 years ago. (No I am not lying; yes it may be crazy to hold for so long, especially when no dividend). The other 12,000 I bought on the ramp up to $16. I guess I am what you would call a value, buy and hold kind of investor. I am not really interested in momentum or speculation at this point. Too near retirement, must conserve capital.
When I first came to the Atmel board the raging battle was if it was going to $0.50 or to $1.00. The 52 week high was around $32#$%$ (and the Blacketts) was a big part of the board then. XSense was not known then.
I have nothing against UNXL. I may buy some when (if?) they get a purchase contract.
All I want is for me to be me and not someone else. That does not seem all that unreasonable.
Her claiming you and I are the same person should bother you a lot more than me. You have a better reputation and have a following. All I have are my thoughts and having them assigned to you is annoying.
I believe she is not a "real" investor but is a paid member of the group of shorts attacking UNXL. And now they are aiming their sights on us. For example, the only reference to the Colorado Springs smell article I could find was from 2006. Would a "real" investor do that kind of trick to cause confusion and waste time researching? I do not think so, only one of the pros would. As far has the pixies having a bad enough time I truly believe she (?) had an active hand in that as a paid pumper.
Again, to me, just the effort she put into bumping all those messages seems unlikely for anyone but a pro.
One good thing. Adding the embedded_short56 id seems to have got my ability to ignore working again.
The other thing is that bit will not work nearly as well on this message board.
1) Long time people on the board (the only people I care about) have seen me post many times.
2) afinitywarrior is not disliked here as he probably is on the UNXL board because of his strong negative views.
Unlike afinitywarrior I actually find UNXL interesting as an investment idea and there is a good chance I will buy some when (if?) a real order materializes.
Ii is annoying too me because you are assigning my thoughts to another person. There my thoughts good or bad, right or wrong, they are my thoughts and no one elses.
Hard to tell if you are talking to me or afinitywarrior. There must be a max message inset otherwise the message box gets too small. If you are talking to me I am always HOLD. Because if I wanted to buy I would buy until I bought all I wanted to buy then I would not buy anymore i.e. I would be in HOLD again. Same reasoning for sell. I am in HOLD 99.9999% of the time, that is neither actively buying nor selling.
lol Anyone who believes you and I are the same person must find these exchanges bizarre and that you are one devious guy. I assume you were not born in 1956.
Atmel earned $1.4B in the first quarter.
$1.4B/90 = 15.555M in 24 hr day,
$1.555M/24 = $648148/Hr.
UNXL earned 5.1M in first quarter.
$5.1M/648148 = 7.7 Hrs.
It took Atmel 7.7 hours to earn what UNXL earned in a quarter. $5M of that $5.1M was for engineering not sales.
"UNXL is still a start-up". Has been a start-up since its IPO in 2006. In that time has it ever earned any real money?
I was replying to plumer not you. I think if I had replied to you the message would have been inset one more. But since your and my message is at the same inset they are both replies to plumer.
I would if I could but truthfully I have no idea where to go to check.
Since your persona is the "beginning investor" you having this information seems out of character. Maybe they "forgot" to certify in the same way you said the shorts "forgot" to close out last Friday when you were pumping UNXL.
That is a lie. You are a liar.

Samsung Beats Apple In Sales In The U.S. For The First Time Since The iPhone 5 Launched
Jay Yarow Business Insider June 5, 2013 9:33 AM
Samsung sold more smartphones than Apple in May in the U.S., Canaccord Genuity analyst Michael Walkley says in a report this morning.
Walkley's data is based on store surveys he does.
This is the first time Samsung outsold Apple in the U.S. since the iPhone 5 launched at the end of September.
Walkley says, "In the U.S. market, the Samsung Galaxy S4 was the top-selling smartphone at Verizon/Sprint/T-Mobile, and second best-selling smartphone at AT&T to the iPhone 5."
The S4, combined with strong sales of the S3 and Galaxy Note II gave Samsung the top sales spot in the U.S.
Samsung's marketing is the reason its selling more phones than anyone else, says Walkley: "We believe dominant sales of the S4 versus other Android smartphones was driven by Samsung's extremely strong Galaxy consumer brand and well-executed marketing campaign, as our surveys indicated store representatives often recommended the HTC One ahead of the Galaxy S4."

I now get that I am expecting too much when I want a coherent story all the time.
But I am genuinely puzzled as to what you are talking about. What did majorunxltom claim to be? I was in Philly (please note Philly is in PA not England, I am not Ivan) on Tuesday and may have missed something important in the storyline. Did he claim to be UNXL management? The head of a hedge fund? What? Do not leave me in suspense I do not want to be confused moving forward. This kind of has the feel of professional wrestling but I like variety
I am think of creating a new id "embedded_I_am_not_Ivan_eng56".

HONG KONG—China's Lenovo Group wants to start selling smartphones in the U.S. within a year, its chief executive said, as the company behind the ThinkPad brand tries to repeat the success of its personal-computer business.
Lenovo is bringing its smartphones to the U.S.
Lenovo is pushing aggressively into the smartphone market just as the traditional PC industry is struggling with shrinking demand. Consumers are spending more money on mobile devices, and the weak economy is pushing corporate clients to hold off on office PC purchases.
Even though Lenovo has been outperforming the PC industry with solid sales and improving margins, the company is looking for new engines for its long-term growth. "Smartphones are our new opportunity," said Lenovo Chief Executive Yang Yuanqing in an interview.
"As a public company you always have to consider how to grow," even when Lenovo's core PC business is strong, he said.
Despite being a latecomer in the handset market, Lenovo is already the second-largest smartphone vendor in China, closely following market leader Samsung Electronics Co. Lenovo's smartphone market share in China jumped to 11% last year from 4.1% in 2011, according to research firm IDC. Samsung held a 17.4% share
Since last year, Lenovo has expanded its smartphone business outside China, starting with emerging markets such as India, Russia and Indonesia. Its next challenge is to enter markets like the U.S. and Europe.
Lenovo's smartphones are expected to face an uphill battle in the U.S. While its brand is a household name for Chinese consumers, the company is still trying to establish itself abroad, especially in the U.S. and other mature markets. Lenovo is close to overtaking Hewlett-Packard Co. HPQ -1.75% as the world's largest PC vendor, but was in only fifth place in the U.S. in the latest quarter with a 9% share, according to IDC.
Microsoft unveils operating system update
TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) — Software giant Microsoft has unveiled the updated version of its touch-enabled Windows 8 operating system at the world's second largest computer show in Taipei.
Tami Reller, chief financial and marketing officer of the company's Windows Division, said that Windows 8.1 would be available on both PCs and tablets later this year.
Speaking at the Computex show Wednesday, Reller said the 8.1 update took into account input from consumers on the Windows 8 system, which has received only lukewarm reviews.
"Windows 8.1 furthers the bold vision of Windows 8 by responding to customer feedback and adding new features and functionality that advance the touch experience and mobile computing's potential," she said.
Antoine Leblond, corporate vice president of Windows Program Management, demonstrated the upgraded system, which included enhancements in areas including platform personalization and search. The 8.1 system restores the start button function that was removed from Windows 8.
Once the most substantial presence in the computer industry, Microsoft Corp. has been working hard over the past two years to cope with the rise of tablet computing, and the resulting erosion in PC sales.
Microsoft's own tablets have a 4 percent market share, far behind that of industry leader Apple. They have been available for seven months.
No No I know how to do that. I had many people on ignore before and it was working. Now I get the green box that says "ignore accepted" but that person's messages are never ignored.
I have seen that it is possible to enable/disable all your ignores from some sort of 'message box settings'. I suppose to be able to check a message from someone you have on ignore.
We had a power loss last week while I was working on my PC. I am wondering is some setting got corrupted but I cannot figure out where that "message box settings" is.
dear god someone please tell how to get ignore working again.
I have not reached the 100 limit. because not getting a warning message The Yahoo instructions say that ignore can be enabled/disabled with "message board settings" in upper right but I do not see it. Running Windows XP on this computer. Thanks
You are making my head hurt. In fact, even my hair and ear wax hurts.
How does this perfectly reasonable message jib with your messages 1 - 2 weeks ago?
How could anyone forget that and just accept this new persona?
Did I just wake from a bad dream and imagine all that?
Am I the only "real" person on this message board?
Are you bi-polar and recently had your prescription refilled?
Are you just tired? Maybe some vitamins would help.
Have you hit your head recently? Been struck by lightning?
Do I need to go back to old messages and see if majorunx1tom, or majorunxlton, or whatever?
Please take care of yourself. Something seems very out of place.
