You put together some relevant information with a little IMHO spin, but one thing even Intel can't do with its tick tock product cycle or die shrinkage, and that's teleporting back in time. That would be nice as they could have started their run with ARM sooner.
... before the 2010's end. There that's better ;-]
What's even funnier, is how Intel has risen over $9 since you started your ridiculous daily RRRREEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDD!
Intel will be $36 later this year. GRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEN!!!
gordon939, you like so many on Yahoo!'s finance boards just love regurgitation of nonsense. Every good company is a great long term investment, and TMO is a prime example. I purchased 500 shares of TMO [then it was Thermo Electron] in August of 1999 for approx. $14 per share. Well, I have held on through thick and thin, and here we are just 12+ years later, my $7000 long term investment has quadrupled to over $28000. Not to shabby for a little research and going with my gut.
What if I had been able to afford 1000 or 5000 shares? Not a good long term investment?
4G this and 4G that... tablets, smartphones, laptops, it all amounts to more data... more data , more servers and data farms.
Intel is and will do just fine.
