As a shareholder in Dell, I felt it necessary to let my fellow shareholders know what's going on with our company:
To all my friends that may be considering buying a Dell pc, think long and hard. Their customer support service is the pits. I am having trouble with my CD-R drive. I was sent a document to work on it myself. After troubleshooting it last night, I called Dell this morning. I had to prove to them what I had done and that wasn't enough for them to send me another CD-R drive. I am having to unplug cables and do more troubleshooting before they will even consider sending a replacement. In other words, prove that it is actually broken. By the way folks, the pc is not even 6 months old.
So again my friends, think long and hard before you make Dell your choice.
Yes Dell, I have sent this to my many friends who may be considering you as a choice for a new pc. I just want them to know about your customer service or lack of.
