For the ones who are still holding oil long. Congrats. You made it.
Ultimately, all technical analyses are wrong 50% of the time.
Just relax, and OPEC people are simply having a hard time saying sorry, but they will come around, and it won't be until the cows come home either.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In America, when a mistake is made, people expect someone own up to it. Our founding father admitted he chopped down the tree. In the rest of the world, it is very different. There, people never admit faults, since it would mean the end of that person’s career.
From my experience, it is a world where they'd rather lose some to make the problem go away rather than facing the music or owning up to their mistakes.
As a result, I believe OPEC is merely putting their heads in the Sahara, but secretly, the policy is been changed, and members will be pumping less without advertising it or saying sorry for a wrong policy of the past 18 months. Relax Baba, just much ado about nothing.

From my experience, Saudi might exists in a world where they'd rather lose some to make the problem go away rather than facing the music or owning up to their previous mistakes. They have a hard time saying sorry.

Like I said, the oversupply situation will clear without much ado about nothing .

In twenty years of investing, I come to realize: putting money on equity is about poetry, it is not about analyses. You think you lose. Just take it easy then you win.

    Sentiment: Buy

  • Remember the Alamo! This is not Texas' first rodeo. You want price lower, we want price higher, and Texas always wins.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • What if the madness of oversupplying crude at any cost for minute market share gains simply just fizzles away without much grandioso, politics, or grandstanding of pseudo reasoning. It simply just dies. Like an old man with cancer, simply dies without much fanfare; like someone who's lost millions on options decides to open up a CD~
To me, the new OPEC policy of each man for himself is nothing more than an attempt to provide the Saudis with a ladder to quietly come down from the crazy high tower. If you'd ask me, I think this may be the lowest point in the trough for crude. The epiphany that one cannot gain market shares by coercion or threat of overproduction is about to be effected by the forces of Laissez-faire. It is not about geopolitics, it is about geography and distance!
