Remember, the thing She said wouldn't happen ? The following statement was included in a financial newsletter I receive... They have used FTR as a poster child for stocks to stay away from___
Frontier Communications (NYSE: FTR) carried a yield over 18% before it chopped its quarterly dividend by60% in February 2012 (from 25 cents per share to 10 cents per share). Its share price plummeted more than 26% over the three months following the reduction announcement.
I am still long and like the upward movement in the PPS. However, as long as Maggie is the CEO, I don't think we will ever recover to what it was before dividend cut... She has the reputation similar to Typhoid Mary...
Quite a few people were hurt by their recall of the B preferred ( Not me ) and are afraid of the new preferred thinking they may call them too if it is in their interests... They are going to preferred with other entities that are not callable... That and the Fed has signaled an end to easing___IMHO
Just picked up another 100 shares in premarket to add to my existing 1200 plus shares...
Market makers ( The lowest form of life on this planet ) are indeed trying to steal shares as usual___
Price Performance (Last 52 Weeks)
This CEO is doing a hell of a good job___ Can't we get him a salary increase plus a lot of new options and a corporate jet...
OK, I'm through with my facetious rant and seriously wonder how losers like this can keep a job___ Oh, I forgot that He has the BOD in his back pocket...
Just who in the hell do you think you are to tell somebody what to do on this board ? Do you you think you are the board monitor ?
I bought into this hype about what a genius this CEO was for making money in the oil business and this is what He delivers??? It appears to me that He has been resting on his laurels___
He's had plenty of time to make something happen here and this is what We get ???
Looking for an exit point on this puppy so I can put him and HK in my rear view mirror....
I bought in December of 2010 and I am still down over 70%... It's got a long way to go before I even break even and I am sure there are more in the same boat as me___
There is a lot of animosity towards the CEO for taking care of himself financially at the expense of the owners of the company... To put it frankly, He is extremely greedy but unwilling to raise the dividend...
