Frontier Communications (NYSE: FTR) carried a yield over 18% before it chopped its quarterly dividend by60% in February 2012 (from 25 cents per share to 10 cents per share). Its share price plummeted more than 26% over the three months following the reduction announcement.
I am still long and like the upward movement in the PPS. However, as long as Maggie is the CEO, I don't think we will ever recover to what it was before dividend cut... She has the reputation similar to Typhoid Mary...Sentiment: Hold

Quite a few people were hurt by their recall of the B preferred ( Not me ) and are afraid of the new preferred thinking they may call them too if it is in their interests... They are going to preferred with other entities that are not callable... That and the Fed has signaled an end to easing___IMHO
