Since 2000, SHW shares have moved up over 10 fold (from the $20s). Since 2009, 5 fold (from about $50). Ask yourself, have sales advanced that much? What has changed? How much of the growth is due to share repurchases? Take the long view. A correction, perhaps into the mid $100s, might be coming imho.
Buying back your shares in a declining profits/sales environment can backfire. SHW should use its profits to pay down debt, not shares.
My broker says it will probably take out the old high around $70--so many shorts to cover & so much good news coming :)
He has lots of sources, so something good could be up.
Not just Zika, but malaria, carried by mosquitos, the biggest killer in history. This could be HUGE. The chairman on CNBC said it might work against the ,alaria mosquito as well.
The market always looks forward. $70 might come very fast if the technology works. Let us hope it does for the sake of all.
Chairman of XON on CNBC. This could be HUGE if it works. Back to old highs at $70???
Correction--Dollar impact. Fat fingers. Anyway, UUP could fall to $23 imho.
Market sure acts like it is, or dwindling. Article on Bloomberg a few days ago said they are unwilling to sell Pd at the current low price. Pd could rally to $600 soon, even if we have a recession. Car sales are still good, as the current age of the car stock is about as old as it's been in many decades. Technicals turning positive in a hurry.
