Phil dummy, 50 points 12 hours away from the market opening is nothing. Hold your insults till the Friday close---we'll see who will be crowing then :)
Amazon especially may be ugly.
& what if everyone sells the "PIGS" to get some BABA---it won't be pretty for the bulls. Better pray the Scots vote "NO". Friday could be ugly if they vote yes.
& what is your opinion of the terminal "megaphone" or broadening top formation in most of the markets? Look at a 20 year chart Phil.
1. If Scotland leaves UK, 5%+ market drop possible (Amazon up to 15%). Scottish independence is not the consensus view--would shock markets.
2. If Alibaba IPO is either wildly successful or unsuccesful, could draw more $ out of Amazon.
3. The shock of Larry Ellison quitting Oracle.
500+ PE leaves no room for upsets.
Would be totally unexpected--conventional wisdom is that they will stay.
Prize: honor & glory
"When Mr. B wants profits he will make profits"--you believe that???? What kind of manager deliberately holds down profits?
When I said "my local franchise" I don't mean I own it. But I do eat there & the coffee is quite good anyway.
In and Out Burgers pays a little more & gets good employees. Paying a little more will raise productivity. Plus they'll move with a little more pep. Some of the current employees in my local franchise are real liabilities.
