With $800 Million Cash,$1.3 Billion availability and a very good management, they are in a very good position.
Actually going past $1. The move starts tomorrow. Reminds me of CHK when it hit $0.25 about 15 years ago and then ran to about $50. Granted it will not go that far, but $2-3 should be no big deal. The management has proved with this ER to the investment community that they know what they are doing.
Many small E&P have the same issue without the amount of cash SD has. Hand it to management for accumulating the amount of cash so that they can buy good quality companies/land (and survive) which could be worth lot more whenever there is turnaround to something like $70-75 per barrel. It is like guys who had mortgages, but had cash and buying power to purchase homes in the bay area in the last crash that have come out like bandits.
That is just my opinion.
It is really those people who hate oil, gas, coal etc., who colluded with Saudis causing pain to the citizens.
After that put the company for sale.
The idiots who run this company have no clue in business, strategy or stock holder support.
