It's not all ISO trades. Do you even look at the volume? I see 100 share computer generated trades all the time. This thing is getting dumped big time. Support is no where to be found. If we see a penny; I'm all in!!
EX-hip.......... all PMs are smacked down from their 2011/12 highs. Spec plays, such as VGZ, tend to get smacked down more. What's your point??
This stock has completely broken down. Gold sentiment has never been this low in a long time. Tax loss selling will continue to put pressure until the EOY. I will add then.
News trumps technicals. I think a MT Todd permit could easily double the S/P; maybe not in one day, but possibly in a trading week. But that is a big IF.
I would buy more here, but I think I'll wait till the end of the year (if we're at the same s/p). GLTA.
There appears to be a persistent seller that shows up late afternoon to knock this thing back down. Maybe its a fund that can't hold stocks under $1. Maybe its tax loss selling. Maybe this stock is just too risky for the faint of heart. Technically, this stock may not be a buy, short term; but if you believe in the long term fundamentals; I would not sell. This stock is just way too cheap compared to its peers. If you believe gold will go parabolic in the not-so-distant future, then I believe VGZ is a must have for your spec portfolio.
What a sad stock. Probably the only PM stock in the red; and appears in a tight predictable trading range. Did tax loss selling start already??
Gold Reserve Completes Aeromagnetic Survey and Reports Significant Surface Geochemical Results for the La Tortuga Copper-Gold Property:
Gold Reserve Inc. (GRZ.V) (GDRZF) has completed a property-wide aeromagnetic survey and has taken over 1,350 soil and rock samples on the La Tortuga property.
A total of 930 line-kilometers of survey lines (100 meter spacing) were flown over an area of approximately 86 square kilometers by MPX Geophysics Ltd. of Ontario, Canada. All known mineralized targets were covered, including the Caballo and Quartz Breccia veins, and the Garrochas trend, a prominent northeast-striking structure with strong gold and copper anomalies at several locations, including an historically active mine.
.......Or just maybe the shorts have made a killing with this one and just simply moved on.
Hello, Mr Geck... ;))
Looks like the discussions have been carried over to the Canadian side of the border. But am liking this price action.
As for me..... luv to see @ least $10/ sh upon ICSID decision before I liquidate the remainder of my holdings.
This paragraph seems worrisome..... Does this mean the lenders will dictate future xactions regarding the Midas shares?? Anyone care to chime in?? TIA.
"grant a first priority interest over all of the issued and outstanding shares in the capital of Midas Gold Corp. held by Vista US pursuant to a share and pledge agreement of Vista US to be entered into prior to closing. In addition, as part of the Credit Modification Agreement Vista US, SRLP and Sprott Global Investments Inc., will enter into a control agreement prior to closing regarding the control of the pledged shares of Midas Gold Corp. "
Well, I finally added to my core holdings at 0.51; for a short term trade. Its not like this thing is going BK anytime soon. We're due for some dead cat bounce; but if not, will add if it drops another 20%.
Possible that Sprott Resource is shorting this stock (or controlling someone else) in an attempt to pick up as many shares when the 3.5% extention fee is converted over??
It doesn't take many shares to drop this thing 5% at a time. Hell, I've seen "painted" closes drop stocks 3%.
Hate to "reign" on your bear parade; but didn't GB have considerable more LTD than VGZ??
Plus they were hemorrhaging through more cash, were they not??
