The money sure knows how to follow the money.
Dots? He's been painting a masterpiece for over 20 years. Here's where the gold is right now. STRZA-LVNTA LYV-LGF.
The second half is going to be so much fun.
The acquisition clearly increases the odds of a deal between Liberty and Vodafone Group Plc (NASDAQ:VOD) (LON:VOD), the No. 2 mobile carrier worldwide by customers, pointed out Rick Mattila, an analyst at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International in London.
The great wealth creation machine rolls on.
The yo-yo crowd here tried to tell me Malone/Liberty missed the boat on TWC.
With so many shares out there it's hard to move it up a penny on the earnings. The more they buy back the better.
Thats a start.
If the buybacks were strong they could beat by a penny. The fun starts in the second half.
Money goes to money. Much better on the way.
You are Liberty yo-yo. If you bought 14 years ago you paid way to much. Live and learn.
It's only money. TKS John.
More important is what this move says about Liberty Global’s strategy, and its impact on its competitors in mobile.
Liberty could buy mobile networks elsewhere, too. It operates in twelve European markets, offering mobile in over half of these. It has pushed into the Netherlands, Austria and Ireland, and Switzerland — not to mention the UK with Virgin.
If Liberty does commit more capital to its mobile operations, it would likely intensify competition in these markets. In most of its markets, mobile service revenue has, in recent quarters, shown signs of reversing years of annual declines. Another well capitalised mobile operator could slow that recovery.
Ownership brings certain privileges. In Liberty’s case, one privilege could be making the neighbours lives difficult.
Malone, whom controls Charter, has said that he would give it another shot if the Time Warner – Comcast deal fell apart.
P.S. If the deal goes thru Joe Malone spins out another stock to Liberty shareholders called Greatland Cable. Either way Malone is in the sweet spot.
There's no way it's bad news for SIRI. Malone/Liberty will not be left out in the cold. It could effect the LBRDA spinout Malone gave us. It's all good either way.
It looks better than ever.
A lot of action going on in the media world and you can bet Malone/Liberty will right in the center of it all. By the way did you see the LBTYA news. Liberty is in for a very interesting second half.
it's not gone. There's lots more to come. The bottom line is the gov. has to move before Malone does. Liberty is going to be involved either way. Hope that helps?
Why do i bother? First off you are LIBERTY yo-yo. Second i've been long SIRI since 0.87! Third I post the facts on Liberty not the hot air and BS that you post. PLEASE dispute my FACTS. CLUELESS
