Would like to see a deal?
Don't see any reason there can't be some smoke there. I'm thinking a deal with someone by mid year. Will see. I'll be around for the last act. Good luck
Remember.......... what ever number they post double it!!!! Why? Liberty owns 60% of the float and there not selling a single share. In fact they want all they can get. SWEET
It sure feels and acts that way. I'm not going anywhere until it all plays out. Malone always has a final act. Good luck
Kaiser It really makes no difference which shares you own. It's all the same company and the stocks will trade in lock step. Myself I would have waited until I had a long term gain before I sold. No big deal. The real payoff will come when Malone/.Liberty make there move with SIRI. Good times comin
For what it's worth Liberty owns 28% of LYV. Was also going to be part of the C class shares Liberty wanted to create. Made a sweet hit on LYV so far. Good time ahead
Kaiser My thinking is Malone will put together the last pieces of the puzzle for LMCA this year. I think a tie-up of SIRI and LYV has some merit. If not then I expect Liberty to take full control of SIRI or vice versa. Either way the shareholders of both companys will be very happy. LMCA might become a holding company until they sell off there other holdings. The bottom line is this you can bet Malone/Liberty will get top dollar for there assets. It will also be done in the most tax efficient way.
P.S. As it stands right now buying LMCA is a cheaper way to own SIRI.
I agree. I don't see them cutting back on the buy back program anytime soon. Right now it's the best use of the cash flow. SIRI is in a great spot right now. Liberty is very happy with the way it's going.
Sirius XM is combining its IP and satellite technologies to offer a broader spectrum of content to its users. In the near-future, it plans to introduce a streaming platform, with apps for iOS and Android, that will extend its services beyond cars. These new apps are in the beta test phase and are expected to be rolled-out within the first half of 2015.
