There is a rising demand and pricing may get a little softer but this is no environment where it will go below 85 imo. Could stay high with Putin and middle east potential issues. It could go higher but that is never in my thesis for buying oil stocks. When T Boone says we don;t need oil anymore I will sell. Not until though.

The 39 million is a write up for a realized gain on the investment in Caliper. In actual fact it is not really realized as they have not liquidated anything but retain the ownership. What is bad they will have additional tax liability. What is good it reflects the growing value of this asset. I can understand why they did not want to include it now but GAAP has some interesting rules that should be followed. The good news is if they divest in the future there would be a higher basis. I am not ever too concerned about non cash items though. What is really excellent is the production rate was far better than the street imagined and the guidance for the next two quarters is very positive. If this pulls back more should be bought imo.

There is some temporary impact. You can see it in the spot oil pricing. To me why that helps prices over time ebb and flow. I do like the way the new management has handled this company so far and the results are only beginning to show the potential. $10 in 12 months is my target.

Well played. I am using a calendar stop. I bought on too many dips but that is great now.The best days are in front of us. The rear view mirror method of investment is OK for some kinds of stock but one must always look forward and true up or down based on factual development not nonsense.

Shorts have had a strong impact on the share price. This was a blowout and you do not recognize it because you are busy counting the raisins in the bran flakes. The secret is that the growth line remained stronger than the market in this terrible weather. When you have a company that is propelling this kind of growth the other metrics are just fine. It also not an obsession with shorts. It is an obsession with growth, the excellent business model and a strong visionary management team that knows a hell of lot more than busting rocks and how real value is built. I love shorts when they attack companies like this one. I hunt for them. The predatory practice can be a very effective vehicle in investing. AIG, already a big winner. GM looks like a very good time to enter and there are still shorts coming in at the lows. I love that. Call it an obsession I don't care. I am obsessed with winning.

You better review the conference call notes the year is going to be better than pretty good. Maybe you do not undersatnd growth rate versus PE ? You should look into it and you will see that there is plenty of opportunity for the shares to expand.

There you have it. You put your finger on the key. This is now a company whose fundamentals are coming into line with the technicals. I just love it when this happens. SPDrama and some others will attempt to convince you that this is incorrect. Do not believe them their interest could be different than yours. I still see the $20 target in 12 months or less.

Feel free to exhub. You deserve it. You were correct. You were on the correct side of this trade. It is not wrong no matter what this dull but entertaining group of individuals ( investors ? ) may tell you. This is a company that is going to be a leader in the " Baby oils " so exhub. Enjoy a fresh Starbucks and congratulate yourself.

You really are an expert. Do not get in your own way. The technicals have been building and the fundamentals are improving very nicely and the synergy of the three segments makes it difficult to short it eh ?The blow out did occur you are just looking through the rear view mirror a common mistake for many investors.

yep this is going to the moon. YHOO is improving their core and this will help as well. Alibaba is going to the moon and it will pull YHOO along with their own strength to the high 40's.

  • It appears that the negative elements on the board do not believe in the company's strong future . The guidance looks very good and the PEG Ratio is very attractive.

There is plenty to celebrate today Marvin unless you are a short seller below 9. And i know you are not based on your denial of that fact. This will be a noted key report in the upward climb of the company as the production numbers were outstanding weather or not.So the battle continues between the builders and the pillagers. Ha ha . The game is not over until you quit. Good luck in the zero sum gain game.

While what you say is true about this one time event the event is real. It properly assesses the true financial results of the company and of course the company did not want to report it. Phantom taxes are not a pleasant experience on one hand. It does however peal the onion a couple of layers and reveals what I have been saying about the value of this company and what the long range potential is and that the price per share is too low in the present . This is what good investors do is to buy in companies that are under valued in the present . It is a blow out period as the conference call may reveal with respect to production. Beyond the accounting rules that they must reveal the enhanced value of the company. Many of the shorts were making a case that this was a disaster due to the weather, They were WRONG. Now they will have you believe tat in their alternative world things are bad and you should sell your shares so that their latest dump does not look stupid. If they were selling shares and they were making a profit on a gain great for them. They did sell too soon in my opinion but this is a zero sum gain so if they wanted to take a long gain the old saw any profit is a good profit. If on the other hand they placed a short sell yesterday afternoon they need to convince others to sell at once to protect a possible short side loss.

If the conference call reveals a strong outlook you will hear more nonsense about how awful this really is. It in fact was and is a blowout. The shares ' price will reflect that over time I have been correct along with some others here. Day to day the stock moves easy as volume is not consistently high enough to stop high volatility yet.The game is zero sum and there are holders of over 10 million shares are feeling pain today and they will even sell more to convince you that this is not a good investment today. My suggestion is study the Conference Call and make your own judgement. The analysts still rate the company a strong buy.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
