Too much risk. I have reviewed their performance.

  • fabricone1 fabricone1 Dec 4, 2014 1:32 PM Flag

Thanks for actually discussing the company's core strength profile. I agree. You did not address the core competency of marketing which is driven by two key factors , new customer acquisition and customer retention .
The programs that you have outlined will drive both. Chicago brings back many core customers for their 2nd and sometimes 3rd trip to the store in a day. This is how they maintain the Schultz vision of the "Third Place " and the customers are really getting it. No other coffee shop or fast food restaurant has so many levers that are working together to support the customer, the company, their vendors, the employees base and the shareholders as a complete package, Great company that has made some mistakes in the past but their focus on the company results has ensured appropriate action to deliver excellence. I concur that a target of $100 over the next 12 months or less is appropriate. Also thanks for not playing in the stupid post game here that is so prevalent.

  • without selling one nasty doughnut. You mobile tech oriented folks are going to be impressed. Even if you hate them. Sell 50% of your DNKN and Buy SBUX . Both will do fine but one is really staged to become even bigger than anyone has imagined except Schultz.

    Sentiment: Sell

  • The mighty SBUX has continued to display the kind of opportunities that a great management team provides for the continuation of strong growth.
    Vision Rating A
    Control Rating A
Innovation Rating AA+ Best of any retailer in any sector.
Employee Relations A includes opportunity , pay benefits, Stock ownership potential
Technology Rating AA+ The team continues to be on a cutting leading edge that produces value for all Stakeholders and Customers.
Growth A+ This may be along with AAPL the best big stock that grows faster than the smaller but good competiton in their space.

This stock will trade for 100 in the next 12 months or less. Sorry bashers. Take your nonsense to a loser board.

  • The dip today is totally understandable. I have further committed to my Bullish outlook thesis. Revenue growth + strong margins + accretive acquisition ( 2015 )= $20+ a share in 2015. I am very satisfied that this formula wins.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

I think it is closer to 50% but either way it is over done. It really short term about debt service. What does Putin, the ruble and oil have in common ? They all will be 63 next year. ( rim shot ) The whole thing is about market share and Russian aggression. If Putin stepped back from the Ukraine there would be production cuts. The Saudis are whipping him along with the frackers but it really is more about Russia as lower oil prices help Capitalist Countries. Governments who have Nationalized oil are really going to suck wind.

    Sentiment: Buy

Herb has made a career of being wrong. As you have as well. You have an excuse though. Your Italian and they don't know much about making money . I am surprised you are not buying Italian Bonds below 2%. Call Herb . he will tell you what to do. I have made so much money here while you guys play for a point here and there. Poor like all your cousins except the POPE.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

I thought he was mostly correct but a little incoherent. The part I agree with him is the Saudis do not want a war over prices even though they can win at the how low can you go side of creating excess supply. The people who do and will suffer are the frackers who can not meet debt payments but the industry is not going away as our independence is ensured through the continued pumping. Frackers cost on an ongoing basis is much less than at the start up. Drilling techniques have improved a lot. Going to be tough for 1-2 years. Is $100 oil over ? I don't know but demand is already picking up due to the price drop. Supply demand is the ruler and we have a little geo-political intrigue here as well. Maybe Putin will attack someone else in the Balkans or expand further in the Ukraine to keep his political image up at home. No bread lines yet but the sanctions are wreaking havoc on the Russian economy. Now is the time to re-install the missile defense system in the East European zone to further protect against more encroachment from a Nation Building Strategy.

    Sentiment: Buy

  • fabricone1 fabricone1 Dec 3, 2014 2:39 PM Flag

You are correct about it being oversold. I look for a lot of volatility going forward with a rather wide range. The long term and I mean 2 years is what you should prepare for and be pleasantly surprised if it end sooner. Believe me the Saudis can stand the price at the well head but the Kingdom is very expensive to run, We probably have the least impacted government cost overhead as it pertains to oil as it is all privately held. Another of many kudos for capitalism. SA needs about $95 to balance the budget and Russia around $105. Russia is suffering big time and Putin probably will respond by beating up the Ukraine or another Baltic state to satisfy his strong political image at home. Politics will reel him in eventually as the pain of bread lines while not a serious threat but the pain is real enough and going to get worse for the Oligarch Class. Which Putin is a respected member.

You have that correct. I view the stock will continue to edge up. When they meet or beat in the next quarter and confirm the upward trend the lid blows off. Until then we appaear to be range bound but it could break out to 12 and above but we just don't have enough volume. I suspect a lot of range/ Channel trading as some are still licking old wounds but are hanging around for 20+. I think they will get it.

It is in the best interest of SA and Opec to get prices up but it is great to see Russia 's butt blowing in the wind. We should now rebuild the Eastern Europe Missile Defense System and Putin will have everyone back in the breadlines .

CNBC for every bit of good information and that is limited is 10 to 1 BS. Kernen is a fool and always has been one. Smart but a whack job.

  • fabricone1 fabricone1 Dec 3, 2014 10:19 AM Flag

Your list is very wrong, Be very careful. If you want a short list learn how to read charts and do technical analysis. What factor would you go short here ? Kerrisdale is short but they are big losers on this stock so far because they just bet that they can not find locations that will produce. They have an easy runway to grow the units as fast as they can train staff. Good luck with that short nonsense.

  • fabricone1 fabricone1 Dec 3, 2014 10:14 AM Flag

good for you. I used to post here often and I am very Bullish on this stock. I look for a 100 price by 2018 latest without a lot of angst.. No reason why not. An average new store opens at the average volume of the company and is free cash flow positive. It is just a component of growing staff fast enough and maintaining their quality. Trend is the customers friend and they are on it. Trend is the investors friend and they are on it. Buy Buy Buy .

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • like to see one a month. The backlog is building very nicely. When the next quarter beats the street we will see volume building on the trade average. Still some later adapters not convinced. No problem it is happening and we will see some nice upside. R E L A X as Arron Rodgers says;

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Gift card revenue bigger that Peets' , Coffee Bean and Dunkn total sales volume . Can you imagine getting a gift card from one of the others ? Remember these gift cards generate a huge volume spike in the next 45 -60 days. Great. This is one gift card that has a very high redemption then reload ratio.

Found a new Dunkin In Santa Monica . It was busy but not as busy as 3 neighboring Starbucks vivited. Chocolate doughnut was good but coffee was a little less robust than I like but I get why some like it. I would suggest adding water and creamer to SBUX for same taste to the Blonde blend. Doughnuts were ok but not as good as most of the competition. It really is a state of mind thing for the North Eastern crowd. That is ok but not sustainable.
