This large trade probably has to do with the Russell Rebalance.

    From another post...

Very likely. Usually the way this works is that hedge funds and others buy in front of the rebalance date (because they can) and then sell to the Russell funds (who can't buy in advance) on the rebalance date at a pre-negotiated price (something like volume-weighted close over the last 30 days, plus a couple percent).

Works for both parties - hedge funds get a guaranteed profit, index funds get to buy in at a reasonable price without spiking the market.

    Nice summary. Very thorough.

By the way, I was sitting directly in front of you (Chris McNulty was on my left).

Next year I will be sure to say hello. Unless, of course, there is no 2016 annual meeting because the company has been bought out!!!

From FTSE press release dated June 12, 2015...

"Due to continued strong U.S. equity market performance, the breakpoint between the Russell 1000® Index and the Russell 2000® Index is expected to reach a record high for the third consecutive year. The new $3.4 billion expected breakpoint between small- and large cap stocks is nearly 10% higher than last year’s $3.1 billion breakpoint, and represents a 31% increase from 2013’s breakpoint of $2.6 billion.

And the size of the smallest stock in the Russell 2000 Index is expected to increase by nearly 5% to $176.7 million this year."

Since Invivo's Market Cap is over $400 million, it will definitely be part of the Russell 2000 when the final membership list is posted on June 28, 2015.

  • In response to a question at the annual meeting, Kristin Neff indicated they are currently in discussion with four clinical sites which should be on board within the next couple of months.

This would bring the total to 15 clinical sites in the company’s ongoing pilot study of its investigational Neuro-Spinal Scaffold in patients with acute spinal cord injury (SCI).

Kristin Neff is Vice President, Clinical Operations & Project Management.

  • Here are the facts:

    - Tonto has been right 100% of the time
    - There is a good chance that Tonto is an insider of the company.
    - Tonto’s "Biggum Smoke Signals" post came out on May 22, 2015.
    - The Today Show airing was not a company sponsored event
    - Even the great Tonto surely could not have predicted today’s 3rd patient enrollment back on May 22.

So, I believe there is some other” BIGGUM” positive news coming and I bet it is released before the annual meeting on June 16.

    Just having a little fun,

Kate Snow is a National Correspondent for NBC News, contributing stories to Nightly News with Brian Williams, the TODAY show and Dateline. In this role, she also serves as a fill-in anchor for Nightly News with Brian Williams and the TODAY show. Prior to being named National Correspondent, Snow served as Correspondent, Rock Center with Brian Williams.

Over her career, Snow has covered politics, four presidential elections, the White House and Congress. She continues to cover breaking news stories -- from the school shooting in Newtown, Conn., to the mall attack in Kenya and the oil spill in the Gulf.

An Emmy-winning journalist, Snow has traveled extensively and told stories that created change. Her Rock Center piece on teenage foreign exchange students being abused by host parents led to new policies at the State Department. Snow’s investigative reports on texting while driving and soccer concussions among young female soccer players sparked national conversations. She was the first reporter to sit down with one of the victims in the Jerry Sandusky scandal and tell his story, as well as the first to speak with kidnap victim Hannah Anderson.

Snow has interviewed a wide range of newsmakers -- from President Obama to Bono. She pointedly questioned President Bill Clinton in his first interview after his wife lost the 2008 nomination.

Snow is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a master’s degree in international affairs from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She serves on the national board of the charity Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

  • …in the face of all the paid bashers that have infected this message board.

I believe the paid bashers are not short the stock but are being paid by the big money to get retail investors to sell their shares so the big money can accumulate shares at this current low price.

You would have to be insanely nuts and outright irresponsible to short this stock which has so much potential for price appreciation in the short and long term.

Take a look at the 2 year chart of ICPT. This bio-tech stock went from 71.25 to 445.83 in 3 days!!!
Not saying that NVIV will do the same, but for a company that is developing meaningful treatments for acute and chronic spinal cord injuries I would say with the right kind of news this kind of a price appreciation would be possible.

Remember the company has no control over the timing for enrolling patients 3, 4 and 5 in the acute patient pilot study. This will simply not be the case for the chronic patient study. I believe there will be so much interest to take part in the chronic study that they will probably have to turn away hundreds of potential patients. I also believe that the chronic patient study will allow for concurrent enrollment. Can you imagine the amount of news that will be released when they are performing the scaffold w/stem cells procedures on at least 10 patients at a time!!!

    Just my opinion,

  • From the 10-Q quarterly period ended March 31, 2015…

“Net cash used in operating activities for the three months ended March 31, 2015 was approximately $2,913,000 as compared to net cash used in operating activities of approximately $4,194,000 for the three months ended March 31, 2014. We believe our current cash and cash equivalents are adequate to fund our operations into the fourth quarter of 2016. At March 31, 2015, we had cash of approximately $24,516,000.”

So the company is actually using less than $1 million dollars a month.

Also, don’t forget that InVivo currently has 1,750,000 warrants outstanding (post 1:4 reverse split) with a conversion price of $5.75 which should bring in another $10 million. This should take the cash runway out another 10 months to late 2017.

    1.75 million warrant conversion: 1,750,000 x 5.75 = $10,063,398

  • Fourth, insurance and national health insurance reimbursement is assured. NO STUFF LIKE, THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY WILL NOT REIMBURSE YOU.....The numbers are so utterly overwhelming, the fact is that every insurance company and health care system will beg to reimburse our solution.

Fifth, THE SHORTS ARE LARGELY DEFANGED. yes they will lie, cheat and steal and lie and defame and slander some more, but what are they gonna say? Look at the utube footage, before and after? They can talk and lie on Seeking Alpha all they want but we have the footage. What are they gonna say, the monkeys were a hoax, that the footage of human patients is rigged, an internet scam rig type of thing? PALEEEZE.

The wallstreet shorts have their power from many sources, but their primary tool is the written or typed word. What are they gonna do when there is video proof? Is it all faked? ha ha ha? These human #$%$ are defanged. Let them try, the wallstreet elephants will trample them underfoot.

Sixth, SOON BABY SOON.........WE DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT 3 OR 4 OR 5 OR 6 OR 7 OR 8 YEARS, LIKE CANCER BREAKTHROUGH DRUGS, with endless dilutions and more dilutions on top of dilutions. NVIV IS ALL CASHED UP....our patients know if the cast works in about 3 months, and from there, they keep getting better and more better.

Seventh: top tier science people from our company. Look at Dr. Langer's credentials. He was and is and has been the CZAR of the FDA. WE are MIT rich with people. We are located in the epicenter of biotechnology, Cambridge, Mass. Top of the Tier Pedegrees

Conclusion: We are the only game in town, on the planet, and there is no competition.
NVIV, the perfect technology, multi billion dollar markets, the perfect investment.
