You do know he is in NY right? NY - the home of some of the best things(beaches for swimming, mountains for skiing, great food to eat, culture for the brain, wild night life in NYC and wilderness vistas in Adirondacks, etc) and worst things (crime, materialistic orientation, traffic jams on LIE parking lot, and yes, the worst liberals alive).
FF - just a shout out since you're often bashed. You were calling attention to Ebola long before it hit USA. Some might have thought you were just stirring the pot but it obviously turns out you were simply calling out a reality about to occur. Thought about this yesterday while on a long drive and your posts popped into my thought stream, weirdly. I just wish to be balanced and call it as I see, not that anyone gives a hoot what i think. Cheers!
hey - stop using FACTS to make your points, you confuse the bashers Cheers!
PS It is in fact a FACT that Celldex is a sponsor (look under the "contributor" level) and an exhibitor (booth 446, a few booth numbers away from Celgene).
FF - is this the "scientific" source, Inquisitr? Really? I expected better from you of all folks. Am i expecting too much?
I do actually agree with the concept that HC workers should have the full monty when dealing with this horrible disease but I don't like this as the source. And NO, I didn't spend time Googling it since I expeected you did and posted the best info - which ain't Inquistr IMHO
Indeed, best yet, also best part of our Sunday ritual when my son stops in from college to get my wife to wash his dudes and get a good meal. ahhhh family and WD Life is Good!
it shouldn't politicized but something should have been done sooner. This is classic poor leadership by current leader. I'd be saying the same no matter who is the leader. Obama came out and had PR the day after the issues in MO but has been relatively pretty quite re Ebola. Frieden has NO cred as he completely down played the whole issue from day one and is not proactive regarding the biggest issue he has to face in his career.
It did happen in 2008 but also occurred earlier. Just iggy it for what it is a ruse.
FF - don't blame Pentagon, shame on you! That is clearly not their issue. You're acting like a liberal for God's sake. This is about NY Times taking a weak shot at Bush to lay blame on a President other that BO. It is a leftist media attacking, like a weak YMB basher, softly Bush to cause misdirection. Read the article and you'll see what I'm saying. Definitely NOT the Pentagon's fault, this is nonsense and garbage article.
I'm in agreement even though it sounds totally paranoid. I'm not freaking out but sort of enjoy the whole "what if" discussion, especially w my 20 yr old son. then again, we enjoy shows like Walking Dead and The Strain. I had a dream 2-3 yrs ago about a buddy of mine who's high in military/SS - he visits me to say he's sorry and then hops in helio secured by armed sec detail and then meteorites start hitting the city causing major destruction. I woke up quite disturbed w the realization that if such an event were coming that the gov't wouldn't announce it due to population fear/panic, and worse, my pal couldn't tell me due to his honor of job/role.
Bigger issue is really how public will handle the news, to your point. Folks will get panicked and stay home/not fly/lay low and result will be lower consumption = lower rev/EBITDA in subsequent qtrs. Long term not an issue but 3-6 months things can be bad. We'll see.
