In order to make the claims we'd all like mnkd to make about Afrezza, there will need to be studies to support them. There are two clinicals that have just been completed measuring just what you are asking about. The hypo one has shown Afrezza to be significantly superior to RAAs, while results for the pk profile one have not yet been announced but appear to be due soon. My hope is that those studies were designed to provide claim substantiation to the FDA for label improvement (I have no info as to whether they were or were not) and that label changes will be made sooner rather than later. We could all use some good news. I don't have the links at my fingertips but you can find them on the twitter feed regarding Afrezza (you can look at #afrezza or $mnkd).
Thanks for the info Kevin. We shall see. I hope it is good news.
It wasn't pretty but the interviewer hadn't done her homework when it comes to all of the despicable things the guy has done. I thought she was too easy on him due to lack of preparation.
Enough of the tribal stuff. He's a despicable human being. Period.
Get real. She can't do anything. She hasn't even been elected, and if she were, do you think a Republican congress would allow this? This is all just political posturing and nothing more.
Too bad it wasn't diabetes instead. Perhaps Goldman wouldn't have tried to destroy Afrezza. That said, I wish no ill will to Blankfein regarding his health. I wish him a full and speedy recovery.
