This bidding process slowly going the Wendy's route a few years ago when everyone on board expecting sun and moon for the price, the bids came in much lower causing a disaster. Hope this does not go that route but who knows..
This is supposed to be for sale and so many are supposed to be bidding for it etc etc for so long already. Yet it is trading like a POS. Hardily any price movement and hardly high volumes. This is exactly trading like Wendys a while back when it announced of sale and was traing like around 30. subsequent to announcement there were supposed to be many bidders. The price never moved up. Something smells a rat here for sure and I am almost willing to bet the price is around what it is now and no premium. JMO.
I donno about that, but i remember people saying the same thing about Amazon when it crashed to single digits and SKX .. both came back roaring and reached much higher highs even.. so dont say never.
Yes I totally agree with your sentiments. I had been there and suffered in past. With Yahoo as well as Wendy's Both times I lost. But hang in there. Mondays are merger days remember!
I vaguely remember once sitting on Wendy's stock after hearing such similar news of buyout etc. Painful enough I realized soon that bids came much lower etc. Also, When MSFT was in talks to buy Yahoo, then too I held Yahoo shares hoping a buyout which didn't happen. Today I quit Yahoo shares again. It probably will happen tomorrow with my luck :(
I dont know. Does not make much sense because it has been trading for a couple of weeks exdividen. Furthermore it is tanking huge today as well. There is more to it than meets the eye, I suppose.
Where is the green light. I see LVS selling off all day long today when the whole market is sizzling.
Hmm not sure. Those who jumped out yesterday are not going to pay like 2 extra bucks to get in this morning pre-market. And those who are jumping in for dividend today are not going to get dividend because it is ex-dividend day. Right?
I don't believe I ever bought like that. Anyway, it smells! We shall see what happens today. I am really curious now.
I do not understand the implication but I just saw two one share transactions at prices over $55 bucks like 55.46 and 55.29. The closing price 55.37 So a good 2 bucks up. So what does this all mean? Any big news leaked or something? Someone buying LVS or what?
I just noticed premarket LVS up big time to almost 55 eventhough it is ex dividend day today. So something is up or someone forgot today is ex-dividend.day.
