    UPS delivered the package outside

Sign up for the free service UPS MyChoice and you will know about every UPS package coming to your house and can indicate where you want the driver to leave the package as well as request alternate delivery locations. Problem solved.

They can always find another job more to their liking and skill level - nothing keeping them an Amazon. If their current skill levels are not adequate to find a higher paying job, additional school/training is an option. Seems like Amazon has a lot of resume's on file and no problem attracting people willing to work.

What does the pay rate for Amazon employees have to do with UPS stock?

This is a UPS stock message board. Immigrants and illegals are relevant to UPS stock in what way?

    Sentiment: Hold

This is a UPS stock message board. Still don't see what immigrants and illegals have to do with the stock.

    DO not support competition

How about UPS & FDX provide a better service and then Amazon does not have to resort to doing it themselves? If they were meeting Amazon's needs, Amazon would have no reason to look elsewhere. Competition is a good thing and it pushes companies to perform better. If they don't perform better, they lose customers. Are you opposed to the free market and competition?

If you are a former UPS employee you should know about My Choice and should use it. No more waiting around for packages. You can even electronically sign for shipments and tell the driver where to leave it. Why would anybody wait at home for a package when there is no need to?

    1.2 Billion in Debt offering

blackhills1234 said "While FDX has doubled it's Revenue in the last 5 years. Need to grow Internationally big time"

You never grow tired of being wrong do you? UPS carries almost TWICE as many international packages on a daily basis than FedEx - check the latest quarterly reports.

    Doubled revenue?

    FDX 2015 rev - $47.5B
    FDX 2011 rev - $39.3B

Apparently basic math is not your forte. Stick with simple shapes and primary colors.

It's interesting that you post on the UPS board but not the FDX board. Are you really a UPS hater as opposed to a FDX supporter? Blindly in love with FDX?

Which company has ALWAYS had better margins (the best in the industry BTW) and higher revenue? Which company pays a higher dividend? Rely on FACTS not what you assume will happen in the future.

Why were you really fired from UPS?

This is not a secret - why do you think UPS & FDX have raised the fuel surcharge despite the decrease in fuel prices? What's a customer to do? They could some money by going with USPS but that will typically be a downgrade in service. Oh yes, USPS raising rates on Priority Mail 15.6% for 2016.

FDX Ordering $13.5 Billion in New Aircraft

"The Facts are FDX has doubled Revenue in 4 years to 50 Billion. You two bird brains haven't addressed this."
    FDX 2015 rev - $47.5B
    FDX 2011 rev - $39.3B

Apparently basic math is not your forte. Stick with simple shapes and primary colors.

Read their investors presentations - they state the purchase is for fleet modernization. Of course the pilots group is close to this - you actually think the pilot union/group has no insight into this? That's like saying the UPS aircraft mechanics have no clue about anything happening in the airlines division.

TNT is not a final deal and if approved will take a couple years for full integration.

It's interesting that you post on the UPS board but not the FDX board. Are you really a UPS hater as opposed to a FDX supporter? Blindly in love with FDX?

Again, which company has ALWAYS had better margins (the best in the industry BTW) and higher revenue? Rely on FACTS not what you assume will happen in the future.

The roadside is littered with those that have bet against UPS.

FDX Ordering $13.5 Billion in New Aircraft

Yawn. Talk to the FedEx pilot group to get their take on this. These are replacements for old Airbus and MD aircraft which ultimately means less pilots needed for FedEx as their fleet becomes mostly 777 and 757/6 aircraft.

Drink some more purple Kool Aid...

BTW, which is still the most profitable transportation company with the best margins in the business? Hint - it's not the company that starts with the letter F.
