Are you kidding me? A spike is an absolute gift from god. They guided down twice and then missed the dumbed down .10 number by .9 cents. They then guided next Q to be really poor and you were expecting exactly what? I want realistic price and expectations going forward to keep this thing from becoming a pump and dump. I see NO reason to buy this stock until late this year, corn prices need to firm up, the factories need to run closer to capacity, and they need to be able to forecast better. I think we are over priced here and will wait to buy until I see how the next 30 days play out.

I don't know about sub 9 but new competition from Monsanto in corn soil insecticides is a real threat. They could practically give it away to protect their GMO seed business. I still have not bought back in.

By what measure? I have been a huge supporter of this stock for 14 years and I am completely out of it and as I pointed out in my posts 60 days ago I won't touch it until it hits 9 or below. They have not hit a forecast in over a year, continually guide down, have huge factory utilization burdens, and new competition in corn soil insecticides. Plus the idea of paying a .5 dividend wit the last 4 quarters of revenues smacks of painting the toenails of a terminal cancer patient. I made very good money of 14 yeas and had it wiped out in the last 2 years.

If you buy this expecting a short or mid term upturn you are delusional. You can get ti cheaper and not have your money tied up. These guys now have a huge credibility gap and a lot of corn acreage is now going to soy beans and other crops where AVD doesn't participate. Everyone has a right to do their own evaluation but that is mine.

Steve, Exactly, it has done that repeatedly which leads you to believe someone knows something you don't. Also paying he dividend with the pathetic results is so transparent that it is laughable. And you are right it can be turned around in a couple of years so why would anyone be buying now?

I see single digits in our immediate future. This is so sad and a classic case of a company who rode a wave and thought they were steering the ship instead of a passenger .

Nice move getting some of your loss back on the short side. Like you I believe this is headed to $9 or lower by a dollar. I won't go long until I am convinced these guys can forecast and deliver. I think the only way we get significant return is by being acquired.

Steve, It may be near the bottom but why jump in? It won't start appreciating until these guys show some ability to forecast and deliver. I am waiting for a sign that they are really in tune with the havoc they have brought upon themselves.
