AK Steel shares surge after better-than-expected outlook
AK Steel Holding Corp. AKS, -0.35% shares jumped in the extended session Thursday after the steel producer issued a better-than-expected outlook for the third quarter. AK Steel shares rallied 8.2% to $3.04. The company said it expects a loss of 2 cents to 7 cents a share for the third quarter. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated a loss of 24 cents a share for the quarter.
i bet swn is kicking themselves now for
doing that stupid deal. Their stock was $40 at the time
today it's $15. Even the pumptards over there wont talk about it
Some analysts expect Chesapeake will continue to lose money
for another 18 months as depressed prices aggravate
weighty pipeline commitments.

Hey PUMPTARD this is not 2008 and
Chesapeake will not get a bailout. This company's
financial condition is gettin worse by the day and you bagholders
have been witnessing a slow death

That would be correct if you have good quality companies
with strong balance sheets and in an idustry that is seeing a turn for the better..
Unfortunately, You dont have that here and I would bet, by reading some of the post on this board, that many people's portfolios consist mostly of one stock, CHK
I think most of the longs should be
more concerned with getting back to even instead of the shorts losing money
