Honestly, I must have had some reasons once upon a time (2-3 years ago) but can't for the life of me think of them now. I feel like I was duped by hypers, truth be told. I believe someday precious metals will skyrocket and then I'll get my money back and a whole lot more, but I am not holding my breath for when. I think I might have thought that if the government were to demand all citizens turn in their gold and/or silver, then the mining stocks would be safe.
The new man has a ton of experience and came from the great Colorado School of Mines (world famous). Sounds like lots of improvements are in the works and resources are being conserved where needed. The fly in the ointment is Mexico may impose an 8% tax on silver profits, but I think they could weather that and still make good money (of course, all depends on the silver price). Looking at the chart, it seems I might be the only one who is encouraged. : ~
Thank you David lol I will hold on whether it goes to 0 or up and away - but I wish I had the guts to buy at this low price, just don't.
Of course I do also as I am still holding at 82% underwater. The reverse split seems to be what really killed this thing price-wise. Talk about theft!! I keep trying to have enough faith in this to buy more to "average down" my costs but I just haven't been able to. Maybe you should take that as confirmation it will go up.
Time is about to tell if they were right or not and of course they had no way of knowing shares would drop like they did. At least they didn't steal from shareholders by doing a reverse split like so many miners did. Only thing I would question is paying off debts when interest rates are so low. But I'm certainly not paid the big bucks to think or question. Free cash flow is a beautiful thing.
Since volume is above average, someone did and someone sold, I guess. After the #$%$ kicking PM investors have taken this year and last, a little caution is understandable. I don't hold my breath for increases any more. Just holding patiently. But I would agree, it does seem like a good time to buy.
Thanks for the upbeat reminder. Today volume is higher than average and it looks like buyers outnumber sellers (is that possible considering market makers?) - strangely price going nowhere.
The newspaper announcement wasn't even cordial - sounds like he might have left angry or been fired. Curious.
Really this might be a dumb question but I would really appreciate knowing if anyone got notice of this before it happened, and did we vote on it? I do not recall hearing about it until it was a done deal.
I don't remember hearing any advance warning of this until after the fact. I really feel like I was robbed on this. Anyone know of a lawsuit going on regarding this?
I don't think this stock is prone to pump and dump - but does appear something is in the works. Maybe the company is buying back shares? Will be interesting to see if anything special comes up.
