variable interest equity = an interest in a contract not the on going business. sec is doing the devils business as in Madoff.
falling hundreds of thousands of dollars per day. rig target $20
buffet places money and profits above obama's war on coal. besides buffet tells gs when to put a buy and sell on. he obviously told gs to put this sell on btu.
i'll pull the trigger when we get another bk. that's the bottom. not before.
the repubs need 6 to take over the senate. they have 5 now. the 6th looks like its gonna go repub as well in the polls. 6 states are coal producers and all of them dems in the senate. these will be turned out.
or lose your it all $10 target
agree and it was bad timing in buying into down under coal that got btu net $5b in debt and may put btu in jeopardy of surviving these low coal prices.
no. if anything wait until after the Nov mid term elections. it looks like the Repubs/Conservatives will be retaking the Senate. This means big rollbacks on the EPA rules and other coal plus legislation. You're too close to Nov to bail now. Its always darkest before the dawn. Give it a couple more months. I'm down about 30% of your unrealized losses. I was up at one time $11k and stayed in. i've been in this trade now 2 years and entered knowing it would be a 3-5 year hold before getting my usual 30% return. BTW most hedge funds DO NOT turn over there portfolios yearly but average 3-5 years.
yes. although i generally ignore the fast money crew (cnbc) guest dennis gartman has said "i'll go long coal when 1 or 2 miners go bankrupt". i see this coming soon with this current slid in stock prices. a great time to load up.

this company will continue to stink up the energy sector as long as there's no imagination and hard decision making done. since 2008 boyce has been riding this personal gravy train while the stockholders lose 100's of millions in value.
like cramer these clowns are bashful about the numbers their buying and selling, why not? if they told you the number of shares and options they were buying and selling it would be lies like their other jibberish
RIG IS BANKRUPT ! SELL SELL SELL NOW !
with a 2% yield why not hold on? you have to buy 10 year fed bonds to get 2%. i understand frustration. look, i had a paper gain of $11k on this stock and gave that up and many thousands more because of greed. talk about a double hit and expensive lesson. hope isn't an investment plan but wishing you all the best on that 10% you think you'll be getting as the market tops.
yeah agree. now the stock is moving up today. looks like a nice bump up for aeo on weds. i've taken the bet too..
really genius? ever hear of chap 7? moron. hope you've lost your retirement in this dirt pile.
will it be BTU or ACI, or WLT?
and UMW were all such good Democrats
Guess who's going to win out. kids will always go for the newest electronic toy no matter the cost. Its THE status symbol. They can get the newest clothing trends these days at the affordable shops like H&M not at AEO and ANF. Not too late to unload AEO before the 3rd QTR.
