This article highlights how incredibly rich Arena's pipeline is. When you look at it in detail it becomes very clear that this stock is way way undervalued. It should be ten bucks right now.

Jack Lief’s Statements About Building Shareholder Value In 2015

“This year is shaping up to be a specially interesting year for Arena -- this presentation will illustrate our clear focus on building shareholder value.” January 14th, 2015 at J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference

”As investors and people will see this year we're basically with our pipeline advancing into phase 2 programs we're basically a completely different company than we were viewed as last year… The demand for exciting new drugs is SUBSTANTIAL (with emphasis) in the market. We've seen that since we announced 334 data - we have interest in all of our pipeline products with other companies.“ February 24, 2015, RBC Capital Markets

”we are optimistic about opportunities to create additional value, both through continued growth in BELVIQ sales and through our development programs. We believe the intrinsic value of our development program assets will increase significantly in 2015, as we advance our candidates in multiple late-stage clinical trials, file an NDA for our QD lorcaserin formulation and report additional clinical data, including results from our Phase 1 APD371.” Mar. 2, 2015, Earnings Call

    4.5 MONTHS INTO 2015
    STOCK: UNDER 4.50
    INSTITUTIONAL INTEREST: UNDER 50%

    DUMP THE RUSSO AGENCY TOO

Russo stinks in my opinion. Media relations my ars. Ya we've seen how well Arena has done in media. I do NOT like Russo and don't trust that relationships.

I also have nightmare memories of Cindy's handling of Arena's IR and getting promoted to a double VP field by Jack in one of the fields she had ZERO frikin experience before joining Arena -- how do you make a person a frikin VP like that?? And how much did that take away from her IR role -- and I don't forget her turning the other cheek to the #$%$ at that big bank who trashed Arena. And Cindy was there at Russo and is family friends with the owner -- and Craig Audet's daughter interned there or maybe still does (no idea). They just seem to be one of the many layers of fat that Arena needs to revisit. Russo is just another sad chapter in Jack Lief's miserable leadership, IMO.

This is what he said in 2015 about 2015. Is it just more #$%$? I think this time around investors are going to hold him to this. It's very simple. He needs institutional support for the stock price to go up and he's failed miserable at attracting institutional support so far to a degree that matters. Now he hopes pipeline will save his #$%$. I wish him luck and hope he's frinkin right b/c this is the last call.

Having done this due diligence I'm energized on my optimism about ARNA. The stock is extremely undervalued. This rich pipeline is like a diamond mine to a big pharma. How many little pharmas are valued at $1B that have a technology that produces safe, very clean, non-addictive, non-psychotropic drugs for acute pain, smoking & drug addiction, autoimmune diseases (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, etc.), thrombotic diseases, pulmonary fibrosis, vasospastic diseases (e.g., Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension), in addition to approved Belviq for obesity/T2DM. The pipeline alone is worth at least $10B to a BP.
Short interest has come down from over 60M to 37M and has a long way to go down still. Add institutional interest. Double barrel of demand.

I try not to post on message board but had to respond to your line: "Time retail is heard" -- it's not just retail -- tutes must be getting fed up with this nonsense as well and if Jack doesn't live up to the expectations he set by end of September that gives investors 3 months to nominate new directors. So far Jack has said 3 times in the last few months that 2015 is going to be about building shareholder value, etc. -- and investors are sick of lip service and want to see shareholder value go up instead of more safe harbor BS projections.

Of course for that to happen institutional interest needs to go up -- something Jack & company have sucked at because they're terrible in selling the story and he personally blew several chances he had in selling the story because he couldn't utter a single convincing line about his flagship product and why investors should invest -- until recently which he seems to have improved a bit. Institutions are not buying his "we are so excited" robotic line. I'm be really excited too if I had an "ATM machine" and got 5000+ dollars PER DAY in salary and had cashed in 1.3M like Jack did or like other directors and officers have done. BOTTOM LINE IS THIS B.S. CAN NOT AND WILL NOT CONTINUE FOREVER. THIS TEAM HAS 6 MONTHS TO TURN THIS COMPANY AROUND AND THAT MEANS A MUCH HIGHER STOCK PRICE. IF THEY FAIL TO DO SO INVESTORS HAVE UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR TO NOMINATE NEW DIRECTORS AND THE ENTIRE BOARD WILL BE FIRED AND THAT INCLUDES JACK AND THE NEW BOARD WILL PROBABLY FIRE THE REST OF THE GANG INCLUDING AUDET AND SPECTOR BUT KEEP BEHAN AND SHANAHAN.

What about Scott Rieger? Anybody heard from him? He seems to have been sucked into the Jack/Cindy style of "Invisible Relations" as someone joked -- and ignoring some retail investors. I hope he's doing something to build bridges to the institutions which Jack miserably failed to do as evidenced by the flat institutional interest for like 2 years.

About voting NO to everything, GOOD IDEA!

Yes Jack is a problem in my opinion but he's got 6 months to turn this around otherwise starting October 1 if the stock is not double current level (or so) there will be a major movement to oust the entire board of directors and Jack and it WILL happen unless things improve. He has a chance. He's sitting on a mine of diamond.

I never had such a call liar. Lying about people is NOT ok, in case your parents and teachers didn't teach you that and you don't have the common sense and decency to know that.
