Ruby,I've only been here couple of years but what we have just gone through I think Linn will have to do it the old fashioned way. They will have to earn it to get rid of the baggage of mistrust.I'm happy if they err on the conservative side.As we all know with the increase in the oil patch and the refiners enjoying a slight glut.A little cushion of the 1.15x coverage is a little southern comfort methinks.
Almost 6 months have passed when we were made aware of it.Wouldn't logic dictate if there was a serious problem or infraction shouldn't the inquiry already have been elevated to a formal investigation according to SEC protocol?
I would like to see development in CNG for residential heating. Many homes north of the Carolinas who do not have access to natural gas.LPG is expensive as only 42k btu/gal.There has to be a simple cost effective way.
Linn offered 14% more for BRY than original offer. With their improvement this year management thinks they are worth it
Did you notice price action on BBEP when they had a 15 mil sh offering? When they know distribution will be covered shs were sucked up like a dyson.May be a good entry who knows
I'm more of a sentiment person if trading.Have noticed critical mention of Linn is how slow its climbing. No more talk of I'm not gonna buy till it tests 21 again.
Ruby do you ever consider waste to energy companies? I have CVA covanta modest 3.5% Div its a 3 year hold
I understand your thought that line has to make larger deals and long term can give you reason for angst. My one counter thought is that once this deal closes even though exacerbated because it was unique, does it open up larger and more equitable mergers? There are a few nice c corps out there that could with a reasonable deal create awesome shareholder value.
I remember reading articles on DNR when it was trading in the 15 area.It was mentioned then a takeover candidate that was worth 24.Will be interesting how this plays out
I guess the yahoo msg board format moved this post.I own two also and can understand your frustration.
