It is probably unethical to withhold a potentially life saving drug from patients in this type of clinical trial. Would you hand out a placebo knowing that that group of patients would be hosed?
Are you still holding those shares? How did that great trade work out for you? You now have 5,300 shares at $1.95. So your $22,900 is worth less than half of what you paid in under a month.
I was wondering same thing. I figured out the issue with FWP. Biogen's MS drug is selling less well than they expected, so Biogen is down a lot today (~20%). Forward Pharma's drug uses the same active ingredient as Biogen's drug. FWP is probably still going to sue Biogen for marketing the drug even though FWP had it patented first. Since Biogen's drug isn't selling well, FWP's drug probably is also not selling well. FWP will also get less money in its lawsuit against BIIB now too, as I assume the payout would be based in part on BIIB's sales of the drug with the same active ingredient.
you better stock up on KY for that reentry.
