You know in all fairness we all can be criticized for what we say or support on a message board. I mean Schroe was the biggest pumper of CEMP the world has ever seen but now he seems to be reformed and is a lot more balanced in his posts. I mean all of this is tough enough without everyone hating everyone. Tomorrow is going to be a nightmare given China tonight so hang tough.
The FDA committee is going to go nutso over the 180/110 benchmark for hypertension assigned by ZSPH in their trials. That BP urgency level could well end up disqualifying ZS9 from any approval for CHF/CKD patients. The best would be a black box warning re use.
How ironic is all of this?. Karma came back to kill off both companies? PIP pretty much too. Used to own this junk and I see a few names left from the old days. Totally bizarre. $17 to $.25 and you still have some of the same regular posters five years later. Pitiful.
I thought your post to be rather cavalier but let's see if time and maturity might temper that if those elderly CKD/CHF patient are your father, mother, wife, brother or sister. If Velt with HK and BP lowering benefits can help prolong YOUR parents lives by even 5 years, would that not be worth it to you? And being in the medical field you know the issue is not whether or not your patient has "elevated" K+ levels but just how much those levels are "elevated", and for lhow long that condition has existed?
I'm very long RLYP and have been off and on from the day they IPO'd. If your point is that time, use and education is going to take time to propell Velt into a billion dollar selling drug, I agree. There are millions of people out in the world with hypertension and all are not on meds today even if that has been avaialble now for some time..
But you being in the medical field should truly feel greatful that a drug like Velt is now available to treat your patients. Just surprised at how you worded it I guess.
Lurk...You're now back in control here. Was in CEMP with you a long time back and sold above $40.
Looking to re-enter that name sometime in 2016. GL to all RLYP longs,
You're kidding by your post aren't you? If not perhaps one of the dumbest posts ever. Ghee, millions of people are walking around perfectly normal with rectal cancer and should we screen for it or just wait till they collapse and die? How about blockages of the arteries of your heart? Should we screen and treat it in advance of a heart attack or just ignore it and see what happens? Hi K for someone who has chronic kidney disease or chronic heart failure is deadly. You sound like you're under 30 and probably don't understand that so that's OK.
Just think 20 years from now you may want something like Veltassa to save your life of the life of your wife.
It's not like eating your veegies. This is not optional for millions of people who want to live.
