Now the share price of MNHVD is .40 lower than MHG. If the conversion fee (5c per share) and agent fee (ST charge $25, WF charge $0, ...) are considered, it seems still beneficial to convert. Any comments?
I talked to WF again and got mostly the same info you did except this guy checked with the info source and said both ADR and OTC have same ex day (2/19), but ADR's pay day is 3/7 and OTC 2/28. And no dividend amount is known (I think it's 0.19). Any way, I have chosen the conversion option. Still working with ST agent to do conversion, but they seemed have no clue about it! Terrible.
I got the same info from WF too, but with more specifics: the cost will be 5c/share plus ~$18 wire fee. And yes, they say the pink sheet holder has to request the conversion, but don't know what's the conversion rate (1-to-1? or ???). This sucks that Marine Harvest does not treat their otc shareholders fairly. They should automatically convert all shares w/o charging fees in 1-to-1 rate when got listed. Any new info?
Wads, Could you advise what exactly Schwab is converting your holding to? Is it from MNHVF to MNHVD? or from MNHVD to MHG? Or something else?
Both of my brokers have done the reverse split on my accounts. Yet one of them (ST) has also posted a reorg fee ($20) stating charged by MH. But another (WF) did not post a fee charged. Anyone know about this? Please share. Thanks
