Also: Shale oil has a lot of wax in it. U.S. pipelines do not have heating (except in Alaska).
This would be a big problem for transporting shale oil/wax by pipeline. A BIG problem.

I read of it many years ago in either Kiplingers or Money Magazine. The article
was regarding The 50 Most Successful Stocks of the '80's - '90's Bull Market. BEN was among the top stocks and was three times more successful than Berkshire Hathaway during that period. (Not mentioned were Eaton Vance and T. Rowe Price but they did enormously well over a 25 year period.) Asset Managers often do better than the assets they manage.
Small plans can yield large rewards. I think it is wise for young people to have a separate 'Wealth Building' ROTH IRA with a few shares of stocks like BEN, EV, TROW, SEIC, POT, ABT, TSCO, BAM, BNS, etc., which one can hold consistently
over a very long period of time and with dividends and splits reinvested.
