R. would not walk such a tight financing timeline if he would not know that Dr.V is about to publish and in my mind if this happens in June, his former June prediction still would be pretty much correct. Everything is a plus /minus in this field.
CTIX met the listing requirements until a few month ago and can be back to compliance soon again. I am sure the CEO wants and wanted the up list . And it will give the SP a boost.
That the upcoming presentation of Dr. Langer can be considered HUGE.
He will not be talking about some potential cancer cure, he will be talking about a device, a device which works. He can hold it up like a stent and you know how much money they make on those stents.
GAME CHANGER FOR THE SPINE
For patient Nr 4 and 5 to arrive and Dr. Langers presentation.
If you can smell $$$$$$ give it a thump up :-) :-)
If you cannot smell $$$$$ give it a thump down
FOR YEARS, even before I invested in NVIV , I got convinced by statements of leading scientists and studies that cells grow better when they have some kind of support and are not subject to a violent hostile environment.
The scaffold alone is a start, but with the clear potential of a major game changer. Those who want to put a price on a game changer with short term considerations will most likely miss the boat when the game changer is suddenly considered a fact. And Dr. Langer has the reputation to create just that.
His upcoming presentation carries a lot of weight.
The key issue is approval in the USA. Whatever is approved in the USA , creates a ripple effect throughout the world which cannot be matched by approval in other countries.
thanks mike, I just started to read the following study which plays into this subject too:
"Injury to the Spinal Cord Niche Alters the Engraftment Dynamics of Human
Neural Stem Cells"
mike do you know if the company has ever addressed how the scaffold with stem cells would be implanted in Chronic SCI. Would the procedure be the same ???
I had the dip at under 15 and this included patient Nr.4, but with the upcoming presentation of Dr. Langer the dip is now under 16 for me. Think about it. Dr. Langer will pitch a device and there is no chance in hell that he would pitch a device which is not working. WHICH IS CLEARLY WORKING.
clearly shows that SYN is no longer a one trick pony. The Trimesta results FOR SURE have the potential to leave shorts and folks on the sidelines in the dust. It might be a terrific icing on the cake.
I am holding long, I am not pumping , I am ONLY adding on dips, the same "adding" I do with trophy dividend paying stocks.
SYN is using relative simple science approaches but with big potential of new discoveries which might leave many saying; WHY DID WE NOT SEE THAT BEFORE , IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE.
For sure there will be lots of interest from oversea companies to be part of the scaffold improvements with stem cells. But the focus should stay with the USA and the FDA. The USA is the ticket for the dominos falling across the world . Other countries , including European countries, are just not pulling the same weight when it comes to worldwide adoption.
Actually it is kind of huge in this setting, Dr. Langer pulls a lot of weight. So the PR effect can be called huge.
liz, when Riley gets the data, he has or will present it first to the potential partner.
Beside this I agree with you in regards to delay by radiologists and not so much by Dr Voskuhl. But if you want to have 100 quality, pressure is not the way to go.
But it seems that Riley is ready to go, wants to go but clearly indicates that it is out of his hands but still tries to set a timeline for the work he and the partner has to do.
with the arrival of patient Nr. 4.
I do not believe in any big expectations in shareholder meetings, I just have attended way too many to know what I am talking about. I even started to avoid any contact with company folks, just too easy to get caught up in their excitement.
I also had high hopes for June, but "soon" is not a science when it comes to "heard through the grapevine" . But I believe very strongly, that good analysis of data requires several rechecks, you just do not want to make any mistakes. This is the Big One for Dr. V , the one she has spent a lot of effort on. A few months means nothing in my mind, but a mistake means a lot to Dr. V and all of us long investors.
All power to those traders, but they sure know how to knock a good one down.
Until it starts the real run, and it will come.
