RFT and RFTA under pressure due to rates going up. IMO they represent great value and best risk/reward vs the common at current prices well below par.
Another chance to buy @par.
Waiting for the dust settling on accounting issues I'm accumulate the baby bond (MVCB) @par.
Back 23.50. Good yield plus a potential capital gain of $1 when the rate fear fades.
RFT and RFTA are the bonds issued by RFT and listed on the markets. Less risk, less reward.
If the US dollar starts weakening this is a strong buy. Big underperformer vs peers (Merida&Giant in Taiwan)
With the bond at par I will switch to the common, provided it is still underpriced.
The cash position is a blessing for the debt. I increased my position in RFT post dividend.
