I agree as well. These shorts show up with no facts, just comments about how the stock is going to tank. But like you said, they are canaries in the coal mine for this stock. Every time they come out (usually right before earnings), the stock hits a new all time high. Well at some point they will be correct but I don't think it's this earning release or next. Everything points to accelerated earnings. Lower chicken costs, gas costs, peak earning season and continued expansion. My estimate was for $140 by the end of the year but it looks like I was too conservative. Good luck to all and enjoy reading posts that actually are supported by facts, rather posts claiming their chicken sucks. Sounds pretty desperate.
Apparently you have not seen the pre market action or synthesized Google's results and what is means to Facebook. Investing with no real strategy rarely works out but best of luck to you. I'm sure I will see the same message when the stock clips $60 in the coming weeks. You really believe this is going down going into earnings especially after Google's results? Please tell me you not an Financial Advisor!!!
I guess buying the rest of Smith Barney has paid off. A consistent stream of revenue and earnings going forward. This is a huge beat and will be reflected the stock price very soon. Should be north of $40 after all the upgrades. Also, remember, once interest rates go up, this $ all goes to the bottom line.
You're not looking for an actual response with facts are you??!! They just usually spout drivel and claim anyone long is an idiot. I've been an idiot since $77/share on this stock. When will I learn?
Who is the rest of us? You?? You don't speak for me or most of the investors on this board. This story is in its infancy, which was very well and thoughtfully detailed in the comment above. You provide nothing, no facts... nothing. Just based on your ID, I bet you're real successful in investing. Try not to speak for the rest of us. Thank you.
Where do these people come from? You act like an expert and have no clue. Longs are not trading for a day. I stated in previous posts that I thought this was going to $140 by end of year. I was wrong. This goes to $200! We are in their peak revenue season! Football, World Series, Hockey and College Football & Hockey. This rockets from here. Short at your own risk but we know how this story ends. Congrats to all longs who had the conviction to stay long despite all the loons who came out predicting a huge miss with no real facts.
Four Reasons Why McDonald's Mighty Wings Flopped from Business Insider on October 21, 2013. Attached is the link. They will be pulling their wing offerings nationwide at the end of November. Looks like we really shouldn't be concerned since the pile of turd you referenced was from September 27. I guess I'll stay long.
Are you saying it's overpriced @ $700? It would have a trailing PE of 17.61 as opposed to Google at 28.84 currently. By the way.. got in at $423 but still feel it's undervalued.
BWLD has over 1,000 restaurants & Bagger Dave's has 34, mostly in Michigan, where the largest city is Bankrupt. You are making a huge leap and my guess is it's wrong. CMG results directly contradict your wild claims. Been in since $77 and every time you loons come out with short declarations backed by no real facts, the stock hits a new all time high. I sleep very well at night , not sure you do the same with your alleged short. Best of luck.
So you proclaim to everyone you have taken a short position and that the price is going down to the 100 - 105 range but now say you have covered at 117! Wow not a lot of conviction for someone who is so sure about the price. Your short lasted 2 days. I am assuming you sold yesterday since the stock never touched 117 today. Not a lot of credibility but you are entertaining.
Last Quarter they beat expectations. It was not a miss you nit wit. This quarter they blew away the earnings expectations. Please tell me nobody invests with your advice!! You show up here every earning release and are always wrong! Then the stock rockets higher. I actaully feel comfortable every time you show up. Up $42K just from the after hours action. Can't wait for tomorrow. By the way, please learn English you moron.
You lose! See you next quarter with the same drivel. You will lose again. AH quote $143 and apparently they didn't miss on earnings either. If you have any $ left ...... go long ;)!
You called this wrong for at least 2 quarters. My guess is maybe more but I've, sadly, only been invested since $77last March. Based on your investing advice, maybe you should take you own advice. I'll stay with the wings. One question, do you actually make money? I'm surprised, based on your sage picks, that you have enough to pay for internet service. Oh well it's a free country and anyone can say anything no matter on dumb....
No just amazed your reasoning was based on Hedge Fund action like you know what Hedge Funds are doing. Maybe you should read your reply before posting. I am sorry I insulted such an expert.
Really, the fact that you call it a chicken company speaks to your investment knowledge. If you really did clear $3K by lying about a company's result, it's truly a pathetic way to make money. Like I said, been in since $77/share and have made $114K. I guess I'm too stupid to not invest in a chicken company but I'm glad I'm not as smart as you......
How do you have $ to afford internet? You've been short this for 2 qtrs! Give it up. Like other people have said, "Please tell me you don't give advice that investors use!!" Do you honestly think being consistently wrong on this stock & posting rants that it will go down with no facts will sway lucid investors to sell? You are entertaining
This person is insane. Please get help. Paid $17.60 huh. Hopefully the men in white medical clothes take away your laptop. On Ignore...... for polluting the board. Get well.
So you're saying it's going to $700. We'll see. Maybe, just because there is so much expectation going into the holidays. It is closer to fair valuation at $700 as opposed to $385 but I would probably be a seller at that point.
