Hard to find info on this one.
I own this and a bunch of other metals stocks, but something struck me today. More than 80% of this stuff is used in catalytic converters. As we shift away from oil, the prices of these metals are going to drop. I'm going to get out of the catalytic converter business this year. Word to the wise: you might want to take your profits next chance you get at walk away. Now neodymium, on the other hand...
Is this Sierra stuff just spam?
This stock is 100% rumor/news driven. It will tick up on rumors, tick up more on news, but none of these gains will be sustainable until the company gets significant orders and income.
I have successfully milked this stock on news, buying back in in the trenches. It is like a healthy cow. I sold a bunch of chunks at 13 to 20 cents. I'll start buying back in when it hits .09
I think once we get some orders - ANY orders, things will pick up. Thus far, it's all prototypes. Hopefully one of those 15 prototypes will result in some orders!
I do think that if people love the iPhone case, there might be interest in other industries to use the material. It will definitely raise the profile of the company.
I had a hefty, long position on this, and I think it's the top of the mountain. Bought most of it under $10.
Thank you, TWX, for a wonderful ride.
This sounds better the more we learn about it.
How long do these things usually take between announcement of talks and announcement of deal?
I'm asking for pure speculation. Come on, ladies. What do you think?
Funny. I got a feeling a few days back that I should grab some more. My order wouldn't fill at 1.60, so I upped it to 1.64. Finally I bit the bullet at upped it to 1.71 and just got in at the wire.
Hopefully this is the beginning of a big run, and my gut didn't lead me to it for nothing.
I have been down this road so many times, it makes me weep.
You stick with a stock. You hold and hold and hold for years, then how do they repay your loyalty?
Dilution, reverse-splits, etc.

Everybody seems to be thinking the extension means Apple wants more time to exploit the tech. It could mean they still haven't figured out their processes, and they're just kicking the can down the road a bit.
