both ways long and short. So there is plenty on gains to go around, Let's all play nice and make some money. As the umpire says before the first pitch of every baseball game....Play Ball....
Sorry to be replying so late, but as you will find there is not a whole lot of chatter on this board.
mostly myself and Rick and Paul. If you are new to trading NVR, watch the trends and trade by them..I.E. Look at this earnings release,a drop of 44 points and now almost 20 of that is made back up. Last Qtr, NVR fell 100 on earnings and rebounded all of it in 2 days plus up 32 more. I see you have a sell sentiment. This is a low volume low float stock. I have traded and owned this stock for over 10 years. NVR is not just a Home Builder, they have their hands in every aspect of the building game from land options to buying land. Building homes to subcontracting out their work. They do their own financing or let the banks do it for them. Look at the long term history of NVR chart wise. Go back 15-20 years, almost went belly up now a beast on Wall Street. it is not common to see NVR up 30 points then down 15 in the same day and reverse. When NVR hit $1100.00 it had run from the low $700 range. Then it sell off back to the low $800 area and has been in a trading pattern from $800 to $960. So pick your side Long or Short. Trade it make your money and get out, sit back and follow the trend. As you know the trend is your friend.........RICK
I agree with you....... I meant have you looked at TSLA as a trade for $$$$$.. I bought early, rode the insanity and sold. IN at $38 out at $161- $181.... Now I only trade the swings. But on NVR a very positive report came out today and NVR took off. They are saying $1200 to $1500 unreal, Just watch your short close. You know NVR is more than just a home builder. They have their hands in every part of the start to finish home building system. From land option buying to selling houses to doing the closing paper work on the homes.... They are A-Z deep into it.....Rick
for your clients but, look at Elon he is up $ ONE HUNDRED MILLION from his May 28th buy.. Just a small chunck of change......................................................
it is going to get crazy. I'm in all cash now on this one. I made $7.55 a share on that last trade. I am all over TSLA, are you playing that yet....Best wishes Rick..
Typo I meant too say on most days it makes those swings two to three times ,,
TSLA is trading do to the short intrest in the stock. This has become a day traders dream stock, The swings run anywhere from $5 to $9 points a day. And on most does it two too three times a session. So if you have the stones to play the stock you can make a killing. Last but not least if you are a true traded in TSLA you what kind of $$$$'s you need in your account to daytrade it over and over in one day, and also the % -vs- the dollar needed to trade this MONSTER........
everybody quit bashing each other longs - VS- shorts. We are both here to make money. The swings on a daily basis make this stock easy for both sides to make money. JMHO
Paul, this one and only website that I use for information, Has issued a strong buy on NVR. They say that the earnings will be a blow out to the up side ???????????????? I try not to listen to other people about were I put my money. You and I have started a nice banter back and forth. But I'm not giving any advice. I don't know how many shares you hold ? And where you are at in NVR, only just play it safe going into earnings. You can always reenter at a higher price I don't know. I bought @$882.67 for a run into earnings. I will sell before and I am watching it like a hawk. I just don't want to send you in the wrong direction.........Rick
are you playing TSLA at all ? The swings are awesome at a great price also....Rick
but the swings in this are just pure honey. Long or Short you gotta love this. If you have the STONES BIG enough play NVR
I think they report the 14th. NVR is down over $50 in the last few days. if earnings stink it could fall $100 in a heart beat.
Paul sorry to take so long to get back with you. Both Refi's are down and new home sales are down. Both are Down by about 41% over last year. But NVR seems to be bullet proof. Why I have no idea and I know that does not help you. I have been dealing with a major back problem. After 3 operations and countless other procedures you would think these "specialists could figure this out. Enough of that, I have been trading in and out of TSLA. Gotta watch it like a hawk low float high short interest. I think I also told you to keep an eye on(DLIA) clothing store were my 17 year old daughter works. Got in at $1.05 out at $ 1.28.. Look up the historical pricing on Yahoo. Just now on CNBC they were talking about doom and gloom in housing. But NVR is it's own keeper....Rick.
Still a ton of short interest, Now all you new shorts trying to scalp a few bucks will run this back up.
NO, I like to play, Lick my THUMB as I count all my one hundred dollar bills I have made off this stock........
Even at $180.00 is a great price. when they sit in their cubes and tally up all those shares they sold so low. you know they are taking turns playing, Lets kick each other in the pants.
