    Fncy dead to this board

Well guys, I have returned once again.

Poor Greg was hoping that I was dead but the irony is that I was out in the world totally LIVING life to the fullest. Spent a couple of weeks in the Swiss Bernese Oberland region hiking from village to village over amazingly beautiful mountain passes. The highlight of this adventure was a climb to the summit of the Jungfrau. By far, not the highest mountain I have ever climbed (it is just under 14,000 feet) however, it is very spectacular scenery from up there and in some respects, reminded me a lot of the Everest assent.

So, sorry to burst the hopes and dreams of our friend from Coatesville but, while he is simply sitting around, decaying and counting the passing days while waiting for death to arrive, I have never been more ALIVE.

I can't begin to think of how much time the bashing hacks have wasted through the years in trying to get into my head. - capt

Nobody cares about what it echoing around in your head, capt. The only thing of yours that we wanted to "get into" was your wallet. I hate to break it to you but, we (and numerous CEOs) were quite successful in that regard.

Greg, things are *not* so good for you. You live in Coatesville and have a fat wife.- verm

As noted: Long time owners of Mela are poor investors. The operative word here being: "poor".

Hey...................... Greg finally got something correct: he labeled the SSKN bag holders as "POOR INVESTORS".

Mela / SSKN management is a lot like Bernie Sanders.

Believing you are entitled to other peoples' money to support you are key narratives of both.

Here are the names of Fncy's last girlfriends: Heather, Candy, Selena, Sophia, Bambi, Jade and Giada.- broke

For no other reason than I have made enough money for today and am a little bored:

True story- I was in Vegas at a magic show and I got picked to be on stage to #$%$ist with part of the act. The magician also called up this incredible blond (obviously a plant and part of the act). The magician begins to chat with us, asks our names and the kick-aze looking, bubble head blond with the killer #$%$ and boobs replies that her name is "Bambi". Of course the audience goes nuts with laughter and the magician comes over to me and says: "And I suppose your name is Thumper?" I looked lasciviously at the blond and replied: "No.... but I would sure LOVE to". It probably took five minutes for the hysterical laughter to calm down so that the guy could continue.

    Giada: Italian word for Jade.

I am done and out of here for the day.............. Ciao.

"My short term memory was so bad that I had to take a list if I went shopping for ONE item! Really! (After the third unsucessful trip you realize that you HAVE to write it down or you won't come back with it!) EVERY TIME you have to do it. This is a truly terrifying experience! My balance was so bad I would frequently trip even walking over flat unbroken pavement. I literally could not climb past the third step of a step ladder without falling over because I could not tell which way was up (and was in constant fear of being mistaken for drunk). My emotional responses were so completely disproportionate to any stimulus that the only way I could cope was to ignore all emotions entirely no matter how strong."

Capt, that comment was from one of your board predecessors. I seriously (desperately) tried to talk some sense into this guy (JDBarron) and have him take his profit on a stock that went ballistic on him and he told me that I was FOS, a "Basher", too stupid to understand the business and that he knew better than me and would hold the stock forever. I even begged him to place a Stop-Loss at 10-15% under the current value. The guy refused to listen to me and lost close to $700,000.00 in pure profit for failing to heed my advice.

Does this scenario sound vaguely familiar to you?

  • June 2016: Pretty significant financial epiphany coinciding with forced retirement.

I was in court a few years back when the case of an illegitimate teenage son of Stevie Wonder was heard ahead of my matter. The estate acknowledged the kid as Mr. Wonder's issue so, there was no paternity question and apparently, Wonder had been paying child support for some time. I forgot exactly what the kid's attorney was demanding of Stevie Wonder's estate for an increase in continued child support but, it was somewhere in the neighborhood of $50,000 PER MONTH !!

Damn........... that is more money than Tweeter pays for #$%$ !!

Yes, there is a future for this stock. It is called Waste Management (WM). They own trash pick up services and landfills. SSNK is certainly in their future.

Does anyone else think it funny that a European company is incredibly interested in purchasing a GMO company when the European Union has banned most GMOs from being grown there and scream from the rooftops about how "dangerous and flawed" such technology is?

Can they possibly get any more hypocritical? Who cares? There money is "green".

What if the capt had invested his $500,000.00 retirement savings in his "other" favorite stock; MO instead of MELA? what would have happened?

Cant recall exactly when we started following MELA however, lets just go back 6 or 7 years. Had the capt used a brain and invested in MO rather than a high risk biotech start up, he could have purchased the stock for $15-$17 per share.

Had he done so, he would have ended up with around 33,000 shares of MO. the stock is up around $50 per share since that time which would have gleaned Capt Kangaroo round $1,600,000.00 in profit (not taking into consideration the dividends paid during that time which, by DRIP would have added substantially more profit.

There goes that 120 footer again............... Left port without the capt aboard.
