Bob, just putting another one out there for you to look at BOSC had it on watch list for several months and believe I had it on the list I put out there a while back. Its making a lot of headway and up quite a bit lately. Take a look and do some DD on it. I may take a position on some pull back soon.
jaret, didn't see it. Short of guidance I don't see anything really bad with OVTI maybe one statement where they may see a slow down from top tier customer but that seems to be offset. What I looked at was a historical move over a one year pattern where it holds a low at the 14 mark so I decided to by another 10k for some cost avg. at 14.05 avg but never expected it to run as high as it did today. I sold all 20K at 15.79 and bought back at 15.52 now I will play this for a few cents higher(I hope) and roll out and look for a dip below 15 before getting in again. Now, so far away from next earnings or news I think I will get that opportunity. As for where its headed longer term (6 months /1 year) I cant get that read yet.
Maybe I explain better bought 10K @ 16
another 10K at 14.05 avg.
sold 20K @ 15.79
bought back 10K @ 15.55
Do it again tomorrow I hope! Not as much spreed tho. looking for .30 spreed
I'll give you a thumbs up on that bernard. I bought at 16 day of earnings. you know the rest of the story, buy what you don't know is I bought the same shares after market and into the opening. Then sold those shares before market closed at 15.79 Then bought them back at 15.55 Now I can ride the storm.
hicksak, should be nutsak, you idiot sheet head. you just have diarrhea of the mouth. If you even had a clue you would be buying. Just bc they didn't guide to make you happy doesn't make it terrible. Nothing here is any different than any other Q. You probably only have 100 shares and all this jibber for nothing.
joe, get your head out of your #$%$. The only thing that they did wrong is guidance.Yes, PR could be better but numbers are good . I got killed today being in with 10K shares but no complaints here. Will cost average down on this one easy although it will take a few weeks.
One other thing, there used to be a ramp up for the Christmas Season but with the whole dam world wanting to take Christmas out, the cycle may just be changing. No more Christmas no more ramp up for end of year.
I think expectations across the globe are higher than reality can produce. Its like we expect, expect expect and always under deliver.Economics I believe are not in place to get to where we think we should be.And yes I think the cycle could be changing some. take a look at car sales, new models coming out yet a month earlier than last. Dec,Jan Feb, March,April used to be the good months in the market and taper from there. Now the tapering going into May/June even July before the pullbacks start. Heck, even the weather in the south has changed. Very little winter. Anyway LIz, that's good food for thought.
Yea, I got killed on them today.Bought at 16, 10k shares down 2 bucks in after hours. Thought I could make a quick buck. Now I've got to work some magic to cost average down..O'well this is where I do my best trading anyway.
Also based on 40/80% gross margins with 20% operating expenses. And if no one else gets into this business. You can bet if they can make 80% gross margins someone else will be competing with them cause no one gets 80% margins. Read between the lines. If this could happen I will jump all over this, for now this is all hype to me. I will be watching this close and do more DD on it but looks like a short bomb about to happen. Run this bad boy to 8 plus and short I will be.
pump and dump. look at revenues, nothing to hold it here. You dumb #$%$ pumper saying it will go to 20. Only an idiot can come up with this #$%$.
bama, one of my best friends is a bama boy, played for a while himself until he blew his knee out. 6'3- and now 280 plus pounds when we bass fish together we look like mutt and jeff. I on the other hand am a Gamecock fan while my wife is Clemson. Talk about a rival night! But its all good. Auburn played a tough game but I was rooting for my friend, he takes it serious. Watch for his son to follow in his footsteps, scouts looking at him now where he is playing high school ball in GA, Quarterback.
