Selling all my PXLW this morning, its gotten ahead of itself. Sold all OVTI. Holding IMOS (core position) GSAT, MU, PLUG, VPCO, HIMX, SPCB, Long term on SFL for the yield. Now with a lot of powder to burn any ideas out there? Picking up a few more shares of IMOS may even be in the cards even if I now have to pay up for the shares. My risk/reward is high, need some new ideas.
Jaret, I grabbed a position in OVTI a couple of weeks back at 14.35, got a little nervous when a cut article was put on them that Sony may get the Apple business, but nevertheless held it to see where it will take me. Glad to see the news on WLCSP and think you are right on on book value. I may not hold it for very long tho, Im looking at 16/17 then see from there. I took a large position in GSAT and added another large position recently. Got in at 1.10 the first trench and 1.70 the second. FCC approval possible in April and now listing applications for both the NASDAQ and NYSE.in process. This I will ride for a while. Never did get any RFMD. Im also back in HIMX off the lows of recent.
The dependable man is who who can reason with the unreasonable and adapt himself around a world where neither reasonable or unreasonable man can influence his progress.
my own fault for selling some to early... Now I wish I could have them back at those 18's price...and those who didnt buy I bet you wish you did. Congrats to the longs.
We hit that today. I went back in for 10k shares at 13.38. One last grab if it breaks below 13 to 12.80 This gives me several sell points on the way up. For the next few weeks it will be a good day trader for .20/.30 moves. hold one 10k lot just in case it runs up a bit.
Jim, I dont like to give out to much but have a 350 acre plantation in the Low Country of SC. My son Graduated from The Citadel and now lives in that area. I will be fishing a tournament at Lake Wylie, no far from Charlotte on March 1 . I have been all over but now call this home at least until I get the lake house built on Murray.Although this is suppose to be the vacation home it may end up being longer stays.
Well I tried to tell everyone last week it was going to lower 13's. So I bought back 10 k shares today at13.50 and another at 13.39 Im ok with that but it looks to go on down closer to 13 and maybe even break into the 12's. No biggy if it does. Would actually like for it to, then I can really get some shares.Buying now for some hold and some trading. MM's will eat at this for the next couple of months so that makes it a totally good trader.
Bama, not sure the processes but They visited Carolina by way of invitation a few weeks ago. And talked about going to camp there with those recruiters, my friend said his son better not go to Carolina or he will disown him. lol Im a Carolina man and we have with it.
Bama, sorry he is only a junior this year, senior next. nevertheless he is already breaking records and setting up for a promising senior year.
Bama, my fishing partner from Ga ( who is a bama man)has a son (senior in high school) who has had contact with Alabama. They will see how it goes this season, but very talented and will be a top pick in both football and baseball. 6'-4" and bad to the bone. Has been invited to several Colleges to date. He hopes Alabama. Look for him later Whatley
Re-entry at 13.40 This is where its headed. I have buys in for 10 k shares at 13.60 and 10 k at 13.50 Once these get filled then the next will be for 10 k at 13.20 MM's will now run it down no matter how much all have falling in love with it. Its just a down play for now. Sorry guys I like HIMX as much as any but it is what it is.
Let me add to this, these professional option traders care not where the stock goes next week or next month. All they are looking for is a chance for a small move in a short time. If the stock is at 14 and the option is 1.00 the stock goes to 14.75 and the option goes to 1.35, they sell this for the .35 per share on thousands of contracts. Do the math and you'll see. This is how to make 400-800% returns. The strike price at expiration is the least thing to be concerned with.
