Thought it was ok report i expected the book value to drop since they were clearly paying out more than they were earning in affo. As far as the expected dividend it will be .16 cents and for those that expected .17 or .18 was deluding them self's now i must admidt i was expecting .18 cents affo this quarter but how i see things going over the next year is they'll payout .16 cents first and second quarter then raise the dividend to .17 cents and then .18 cents by first quarter of 2016 that's how i'm playing rso
Think the street has priced in the dividend cut to .16 cents and entering at $4.80's is relatively safe only thing that would kill the share price is if they report less than .18 cents affo then you could see a drop to $4.50 because then the dividend would still be considered unstable but as long as the dividend looks sustainable the price will hold and even rise a little.
Sorry to say but i would not be buying today id wait till things cooled off i see fsc going lower with no dividend in feb and a bg miss on earnings as well as a 34 % dividend cut i think over the next week fsc will drift a bit more maybe $6.75 but i defin would wait the normal 3 days.
Looks like fsc is making up the difference of over paying on there dividend of .0917 cents all those months and now we have a new dividend of .06 cents makes me wonder if this is one of the reason the ceo quit with out notice.
EPS of .23 cents and nav droped to $9.17 and lowered dividend to .06 cents per month. all i can say is now we know why they waited to release dividend announcement until earning release and why they have the conference call at the start of the pre-market looks like fsc will tank.
All I know is it sure seems like management has something important to tell share holders monday since no dividend announcement as of yet and the ceo resigns without notice or reason and the fact that earning conference call is right at the start of pre-market makes me Nervous so sold half my position friday just incase. Now maybe i made a mistake and will lose a few shares when i repurchase them monday but figured better safe than sorry lets hope for good news only 9 hrs to go.
Thats whats concerning me why no dividend announcement? My guess they'll declare it on Monday with earnings report but that also makes me wonder especially with the ceo resigning with no notice . Are they waiting because they want to explain somethings at the time of the earnings report and conference call since the call is at the start of the pre-market.
Think your defin in the ball park as far as the dividend goes but i would say you would have an intial drop in share price but will climb back over $8.00 with in a month. My guess is they will maintain the current dividend and will be moving to a quarterly announcements for the three months ahead.
Same here thought rso would drop below $5 but im at the lower end of dividend announcement im thinking they will start off low around 16 and raise it as they go thru the year.
in a report published Tuesday, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods analyst Jade J. Rahmani reiterated a Market Perform rating on Resource Capital Corp. (NYSE: RSO), but lowered the price target from $5.50 to $5.00.
Simply put gpt has transformed from a business on the brink of bk to a whole new company in the net lease business. and if you look at other net lease business there typical payout is less than 6% so if your looking for long term stable growing dividend and share appreciation over 10 years then your in the right place but if your looking for high yield and stock volatility then this is not the place.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Fsc dividend raise does raise some questions about its sustainability but even if they were to drop it back down to .0833 fsc still would be a buy at the current share price.
Bought fsc today and looking to buy psec soon thinking low $8's starting at $8.10 and below
Even though wheeler hasn't cover there dividend in 2 years with ffo or affo i took a 6300 share position friday and plan to buy more with dividend earned in jan from my other investments. I expect whlr to start covering there dividend by second quarter which should give a nice boost to share price
That is the exact question i have about Gramercy europe how exactly will it benefit current share holders once gramercy europe is spun-off and listed in europe doubt we will receive shares in the new company.
More than likely the 30% growth would come more from larger deals in the form of 200 to 300 million and small incremental increases in the dividend say a penny a quarter.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Arr has required a 14% yield due to the risk associated with arr so my guess would be that arr will drop to $3.40 range. Since arr has never raised there dividend and has consistantly been cutting it since the beginning investors may even require a higher yield we will find out over the next few days.
