True, but their video compression could fit in nicely.
    Plus there are other benefits:
    1) A foothold into Raytheon for defense products.
    2) Perhaps this video compression, with the advent of 4HD TV, will be picked up by the the US telecommunication companies and internet providers. 4HD TV needs this tech. It allows the providers to send 4times as many pixels without increasing bandwidth. It also has remarkable use in Moblie phones for the same reason.
    3) Object tracking is self explanatory. You should it's valued application in HERE.

  • This fits nicely with their Video, Here Maps expertise as well as patent portfolio. At .09 and 23mm markeet cap, it could be interesting.
TMM, Inc. Enters Joint ISR Research Program with Raytheon Company for TMMI’s TRUDEF™ Video Compression Technology

TMM, Inc. 17 hours ago May 21, 2014

TMM, Inc. (TMMI-PK) (“TMMI”) or (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a joint research program with Raytheon Company (RTN) to test the TRUDEF™ video compression technology owned by TMMI for a variety of applications in the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance sector. Both companies have committed resources to the venture with the goal of finding solutions to reduce bandwidth costs and improve image quality.
“This an exciting milestone for TMMI,” said Gerard V. Cavanaugh, TMMI’s CEO. “We have been working closely with Raytheon over the past year so that we can develop custom engineering solutions using TRUDEF video compression as a key component to improve the user experience and streamline integration into their customer’s ecosystem. It’s the next step in building a strong relationship.”
As TMMI researchers continue to improve the TRUDEF fractal compression engine, the TRUDEF team is also developing customizable image processing solutions for scientific, industrial and military clients. The TMMI engineering team has completed demonstrable prototypes of object tracking, real-time image magnification, super resolution and image enhancement filters built on top of the compression engine. These technologies provide client specific applications that combine state-of-the-art compression technology with advanced image processing tools.
This is particularly useful in scientific and surveillance applications. The object-tracking prototype allows a user to select a single object or multiple objects in a source video, and track visually dynamic or “evolving” targets. These “object images” can then be resolution enhanced using super-resolution. Additionally, the research team has added filters that significantly improve the visual clarity of otherwise challenging source video in real time.
The prototypes the team has developed are in response to the needs of a complex video imaging market driven primarily by the Sports, Exploration, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance communities. These capabilities are clearly applicable to a number of scientific and industrial sectors as well. Interested parties are invited to contact us for further information and demonstrations.

    Your posts smack of desperation!

You're throwing hsitorcalr esults at us that are not indicative of what's happening now.

Why don't you tell us about how poorly Apple or Google or any other start up has done?

Nothing more than a paid fearmonger.

With all due respect ( I really mean it), you are very shortsighted.
Many countries in Europe have already joined the direct currency exchange trade agreements. Furthermore, there has been a massive secular shift in our oil independence theories. Fracking is a very short lived drilling program.
no sense arguing here, we will soon see how this evolves.

Players are shorting based on the spin off.
They know that after mcig spins off half of vita cig, the company should theoreticaly be worth less. this issimilar to a company going ex dividend. The shorts still have to pay the dividend.
but if Vita cig trades significantly higher, then they'll be forced to buy the vita shares amke good delivery (Ouch!)

Aside from inflation, look at the foreign exchange rates.
The weak Euro this morning is keeping as cap on Nokia's price.
But once the dollar begins its descent into hell, Nokia's price will automatically rise correspondingly. Unless of course, you expect the dollar to stay strong.
Remember, the world is moving to remove the dollar as a reserve currrency. Give it some time. Already Russia and China are trading without the US Dollar, AND they are setting up their own SWIFT international payment system.
The US has stated, that if you use dollars to transact business, then you are governed by US rules and laws. Your own personal laws are meaningless. This is disturbing many countries. The maove aaway from the dollar can also be seen among most Asian countires, Latin American countires, and many European countries. Lately even Switzerland has its nose out of joint about all the fines being levied on its banks..

The company said this is not a stock for a quick flip.
Their agenda is for long term growth. This will maximize shareholder value and provide solid financial footing for safety.

  • If so where is Nokia trading
