"Battle" is right . I don't think I've ever seen a stock all over the chart like this before ! High $3.19 Low $2.35 . Great volume . I'm holding . Looks like the weak hands got shaken out .
Looks like this answers the question regarding conflicts with TDG :
Although Vuzix sold its Tactical Display Group which served the military and defense market in June of 2012, the Company continues certain select R&D programs with the U.S. Department of Defense to create next-generation optical waveguide technologies that can provide battlefield and intelligence advantages for U.S. Soldiers.
a leading supplier of Video Eyewear and Smart Glasses products in the consumer, commercial and entertainment markets, announced today that it has developed, manufactured and completed the shipment its first high-definition see-thru holographic optical display systems to the U.S. Military's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for use in the Persistent Close Air Support (PCAS) program in the battlefield arena. The systems are designed for use by Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC).
Seems like a good target for a Google buyout. Shut down the competition & absorb the technology !
Wearable Gadgets Transform How Companies Do Business
Consider “smart glasses” developed by Vuzix that use software from SAP AG. The glasses can be used in a variety of settings. In distribution centers, for instance, a high-definition camera in the glasses scans bar codes and then offers warehouse workers voice and visual data on a head-up display. The glasses can warn workers about a number of things—for instance, that an item is fragile and they need to be careful when picking it up, or that they grabbed the wrong item for an order.
Ace posted an InsideAR video on his blog the other day :
InsideAR 2013: Kevin O'Sullivan - Smart Glasses in the Aviation Industry
- The guy is wearing Google Glasses but they are also working with Vuzix M100.
I think people are starting to take Vuzix seriously - on par with Google Glass .
Looks like we broke out of the trading range we were stuck in !
The official company PR of Jan 8. 2013 stated :
The Vuzix Smart Glasses M100, expected to ship in second half of 2013, will enable wearers to access data and content from an iOS or Android smart phone from the cloud and‘hands free’.
So it seems to me they are right on target .
Yeah , seems logical to put out a PR and file it in an 8K with the SEC that is filled with blatant lies .
I don't know what's not to like ? Sounds pretty definitive to me .
Original launch was October so one month off seems pretty reasonable given the effort made to secure the needed financing .
This also confirms what was said at the Metaio conference.

Dear Vuzix Shareholders,
I would like to thank you for your continued support and interest in Vuzix .
We are entering an exciting period. In the next few weeks we plan to launch the
M2000AR , our first commercial product using our proprietary waveguide technology .
Soon after that we will introduce new digital versions of our Wrap Video Eyewear products ,
and in November we plan to launch our highly anticipated smart glasses M100. We are
also pleased to announce that the M100 will have many new, previously undisclosed features and capabilities.
Thanks for the post .
He was doing a business card drawing for one of the first M100's to come off the line next month.
The M100 smart glasses and selected AR apps will be available throughout the two days for delegates to try at their leisure. However, be warned, it recently caused a stir when shown at the CEATEC event in Japan. There it was running a facial recognition and translation app from NTT Docomo and was so popular delegates often queued at the show table for well over an hour!
