just how crooked the market is. One analyst downgrades the stock (but keeps the same target price) and a bunch of BS about Cantor losing affecting Boeing. Really? Boeing is that fragile? Somewhere there is a room with greasy guys smoking cigars laughing their #$%$ off as they manipulate the stock for huge gains.
Oh don't get me started on Kerx. I got in at like .23, sold when it jumped to like $2.35. Followed it for a while, then got back in at around $2.50...ran to $5 just before they announced trial status, I hung on - drug failed, dropped to under $2. Sold in frustration. Second drug succeeded later that year...now $14. Coulda shoulda woulda.
I also had to agree with the frustrated caller when he said other bio pharms would kill to be hitting milestones(achievements) like Brainstorm has. I have invested in several biopharms and often times the milestone hit was something like "Well...nobody died as a result of what we did to them". And that was enough to move the stock 20-30% up. Other than perhaps question funding levels, Brainstorm is like a rockstar compared to some of the shakey firms I've invested in. KERX being one I bought into originally at about the same price...now at $14+.
I just listened to the conference call. Same guy who called in last time called again this time - sounding more frustrated than ever that he couldn't invest his $200k in the company (through the investment bank, not via the penny stock...I'll admit I am a little naive about how that works). A lot what he had to say is true - this is penny flipper territory, until you get the big boys to come in and snap up huge blocks of shares what we are gonna continue to see is people continually selling when the stock goes up 2 cents. Just gotta look at the chart for the last month. Peak -sell, valley -buy, rinse and repeat. I could have pocketed and easy $10k had I followed their routine. It'll pop one day - may be a lot of frustration between now and then though. Let's hope Tony can pull them into the big time, and the sooner the better.
$.31 does seem to be the ceiling. It wouldn't surprise me if it stays this way for quite some time. One thing BCLI has going against them, at least perception-wise, is that their treatment is not seen as mass money maker. It's not like ALS is as prevalent as heart attacks or cancer (and we should all be thankful for that). So anyone doing only minor due diligence on BCLI will seem them as something of a novelty. Now for the rest of us who've looked much deeper we know the treatment they are developing could have a wide range of applications...and at the risk of sounding like I am over-hyping...it could be the miracle a lot of people are looking for (for any number of ailments). ALS is the first step. Parkinsons, MS...and now even Autism could be the next (and hopefully successful) targets for treatment. It may be years before the share price takes off...I'm just glad I snagged 50k of them for the bargain price of $.24.
Okay maybe not, but I felt we needed a ridicules pump post prior to tomorrow's conference call. Hoping we can climb above $.299 and never look back. May be a slow steady climb or just lay here flat as a pancake for months - I'm not gonna pretend to "know". That said, and at the risk of sounding like a pumper, this is one of the most promising Bio stocks I've seen in a long time, and I mean that in a couple of ways - potential value and the potential to make a huge difference for people with ALS (and actually that makes hoping for any financial gain almost inconsequential...but I'll take it)
Google Chrome will translate it. I'll give you the short version though: The treatment helped and he'd like to get more treatments.
1) First patient enrolled in phase 2..
2) New CEO
Pretty sure a reverse split is not gonna be announced (not sure why people are so paranoid about that anyway). Perhaps more funding or partnering news. Or 1 & 2 might be all there is (which is not a bad thing). I'm leaning towards some type of funding news.
Just ignore him. He flip flops from basher to pumper...and then rationalizes it by saying it's the Israeli way.
Just an idiot then? Listen, you can't post numerous bashing #$%$ posts like "I promise you this is going to $.19" then turn around and start pumping the stock and not lose all credibility. Do yourself a favor - just stop posting.
