I still own close to 700K shares...Lost about 70% of their value. I figure there is no point in selling now, I'd rather lose what's remaining on the chance that it may recover some day (Granted, that's not likely). It's kind like getting kicked in the nuts 5 times - how much worse could it be to get kicked a couple more times?
to actually go below zero. There seems to be no bottom here. Ce le vie. Some times stupid gambles are just that and I'll be the first to admit this was a stupid gamble on my part. Face it my friends, this company is history...A $0.00 stock value is inevitable. Thanks Freddie! Please put a bio bag over your head and cinch it tight around your neck.
I refuse to sell at a loss...but as soon as I see that green turtle head poke out I'll be happy to comply.
750,000 shares myself. Why do I get the feeling (only) about 1000 of us own this company?
I also recall him saying once oil reaches $100 (or something like that) that would makes his bio-bags cost effective...that's not really working out for him, hence he no longer talks about that.
Lest anyone thinks I am simply bashing the stock for my own purposes, I'm not...just venting (and wondering why I ever thought this was a good investment).
"Plastic bag bans are being implemented in several countries...wouldn't it be cool if they started using bags made from our bio-nuggets? Let's put out a PR every couple of weeks to tell people how cool that would be."
Sierra World Equity...have you actually seen this "Company"'s website? "Sierra" is supposedly a hot swimsuit model who picks stocks (I'm serious). They (she) couldn't pick a stock if it was a thong strap in her butt crack. That being said - Cereplast is dead money my friends. I don't see this moving for at least a year, if then. I'm in deep enough that selling at this point doesn't make a lot of sense, but I have pretty much written Freddy and friends off. Alls they ever talk about is the promises of what the bio-bag market can bring...and no substance whatsoever. They are drowning in their debt. I was mildly optimistic before the conference call last week...no I wouldn't recommend this stock to my worst enemy. Sorry fellow longs.
