Remember the Bukakkee fest starts on the 23rd. Without proper protection you are liable to lose an eye. As Dean Wormer said, "Blind, broke and stupid is no way to go through life, son"
As my mother taught me not to go out in the rain I covered on the secondary. Was suprised how disorderly it was but know it looks like the underwriters have regained control of the float and are going to look to retake the seconday price of $75. Nice light week combine that with next week's black Friday success stories should be able to start a small squeeze. I check Interactive brokers stock availability and they start with very little to none availabe with a100% borrow rate. This reallly suprises me also that the borrow hasn't become any easier after the secondary. I didn't check everyday as I was out of the position but it must mean that large short sellers gobbled up the additional float and or the underwriters are keeping the stock from being lent to the street. Underwriters often do not allow the stock to be shorted for thirty days after an offering and if they choose not to put their stock out on the street to lend then there is no more borrow. They can't keep it tied up forever with the Bukakkee fest coming up. I envision a nice short entry point sometime next week.
They were big financers of the Cetera deal. They lent RCAP 300-500 mln in convertible debt therefore they are tied to the stock's success and stepped in to stem the bloodbath. Unfortunately this stock can't get any institutional traction down here wnich is depressing and basically says the street as in Institutional money does not like this guy at all. Looking at his related party transactions and his serial aquisition strategy can yo blame them. Being involved with this guy Schorsch is like being in purgatory.
I thought these guys take no inventory, provide no logistics, have super high margins, then why, why Santa, why are you taking our Christmas tree? You see little girl, I actually have tremendous amounts of off balance sheet debt, that I need to finance, also a monopolistic business in a Communist country comes with costs that can not be seen on any of our finacial statements. You have to look to Manhatten real estate, luxury goods receipts, Tesla pre-orders, and the purchasing of U.S. citizenship through the special investment visa programs to understand the nature of my business. Don't worry I will take your money back to China tonight and tomorrow you will have more Cayman Island IOU's under the tree for you and your family.
If the stock is going to $100 then Nick and the boy's don't have a brain because they just sold a bunch in the 70's..Would you like to clarify your statement because Nick and Jill might not invite you to the Bukkakee festival in December if you keep insulting them.
Schorsh needs to step up and buy a million shares. Let's see sold 5mlnm shares at 20, step up and buy it down here.
He needs a second career this will be seriously marked down by this time next year.Wait until the margins get crushed and the fad wears off no one will play with him unless he pays money. Sober share holders will make him stop paying his surfer friends and flying banners at skateboard events. He will be wondering around like Ron Burgundy after he lost Baxtrer.
First show will be him lining up all longs under his Ramp to Ramp jump then peddling his Andy Samberg Hot Rod up the ramp right down onto the first longs crotch. He will then proceed to peddle across the rest of the longs until they all have ruptures. Beterr wear your jockstraps longs!!! Of course he will be wearing his GoPro on his head but per usual a standard video camera will do a much better job of capturing the longs writhing in pain.
Let them have their little dog and pony show, it should last a few days before the weight of the inceased float is too much to handle and the dam breaks. The underwriters will eventually let it fall hard and then buy back hard to create little bursts like a retreating squadron who stops to spray the oncoming enemy with gunfire. Should be good theatre, don't expand your ammunition to fast you don't want to underestimate the strenght of your enemy.
Yep, my buddy at JPM said it was coming this morning it must be tomorrow, they will push this up right at the end of the the day to make those $78 shares look like a great deal then they will push it for about a week. Flippers will get out and the retail schmucks will go down with the ship. They might have to price this puppy at 74-76 if the market stays toppy. It's all gravy to the boys hitting the exit with their schwag bags of cash.
5.1% c#$%$ought my eye, bec#$%$use there is less of #$%$ reporting requirement if he st#$%$yed below 5% therefore I think he w#$%$s just getting st#$%$rted. It's a deviant sex act where one recieves pleasure out of being urinated on. In this case Nick Woodman is doing the urinating tomorrow with some Chinese fellows from Foxcom. Stay long and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation will be peeing their 5 mln shares shortly thereafter because they are free to sell, sell, sell Mortimer!
Anyone who buys in front of a known secondary is a #$%$. The S-1 says maxd price is $78.12 for this thing.
Where are you getting the $3 a share. Glancing at the filings these guys lost money last year. I noticed they had usery loans from the private equity group at 17% which I imagine they will pay off and maybe there were one time expenses but I'm long the stock and have down very little due diligence, and now with this move I need to put some fundamentals under this guy if I'm going to hold on, thanks.
They have 315 mln in cash minus committments they have 238 mln with a 25 mln revolver per conference call. Your welcome!
The CEO said in a very forebodding way that they were very unhappy with the stock price and would be having a board meeting and would looking very hard at ways to support the stock. He basically was saying stock buyback. Of course he couldn't say that because it's not his call. If they don't have to pick up th eCole deal anytime soon they could announce a 100 mln share buyback. Of course they don't have to use it all but use 50 mln and bring the shares outstanding down 5%. Yabadabado!
