I have followed this stock for some time now and this is the best price action I've seen in a long time. Beautiful long tern reversal. Margins have really held this stock down for the last 2 years. With margins improving like they are this stock can test some of it's 2011 highs with some help from China mobile. This next earnings will be watched very closely by many!
That's where your wrong grasshopper, I responded then used the ignore button on him. The only reason this post popped back up is because you responded and did the very thing you told me not to do.
any r tards that post things that make us use the ignore button shouldn't be allowed to invest, including you
This is true. But with the deal just now going through, even if OVTI knew how close the deal was they can't put it in their guidance until they actually know the deal is done.
This explains why OVTI came right back after earnings, insiders deff new this deal was almost complete. ITs funny how many people didn't know this deal was even going on. Looking real good for 2014!
There was definitely some good news in the report.Ie,higher margins and even with the lower revenue guidance the margins appear higher as that analyst said at the cc. Yes guidance is a big part of a report, but it's just guidance not what they will actually do. Ovti has a history of guiding low and betting on the back in. The most important thing from this report is that Margins are improving with big big future growth coming from cina ie china mobile!
I'm sorry my friend, but you are the one that's roast. To be honest if you really still think this is a solid investment then you shouldn't be investing in stocks! Just because an article says somethings the next big thing doesn't mean its true. I only hope you didn't lose to much money and you come out of this a little smarter and learn that you should only invest in real companies with real numbers.
Well we know the RGBC is inside of the new Moto-X due to be released soon. Deff a good first peak at how earnings should be.
Motorola has been hyping up the 10.5-megapixel Clear Pixel camera inside the Moto X, but it's been shy on the sensor's technical details and origins. We now have both: it's the Omnivision OV10820, a 1/2.6-inch sensor with a video-friendly 16:9 aspect ratio and large 1.4-micron pixels. Its strong low-light performance comes through a two-chip approach. The sensor captures RAW images using a sensitive RGBC (red / green / blue / clear) color filter, and a companion chip automatically converts the resulting shots into the Bayer format that most imaging processors expect. The result is a high-performance camera that slots inside the Moto X without requiring any special effort. Whether or not we see the OV10820 used outside of Motorola is another matter. Omnivision can't comment on the sensor's exclusivity, but it does note that RGBC is an "extremely viable option" for the future.
Looks like Ovti's new RGBC will be in the Google phone-Moto X. Google released spec of the phone and it has the RGBC tech in it. Looking real good for earnings this mth.
thi2566- Your posts are comical, your like the ovti message boards resident clown haha
I guess if that's what your going for then right on, but if your writing these posts to be taken seriously then your an even bigger clown!
But hey, you have the right to speak your mind, and at the end of the day maybe you are making some green investors think more about their trades. Just slow down on the posts, they get a little repetitive.
Your not just posing questions for green investors, your writing threads like UA is about to drop 30% any day now. I don't think anyone here is saying UA is "unstoppable". UA has earned it's inflated valuation for now due to it's massive expansion, new products and expanding margins. Yes UA at some point will slow, and margins will come in with competition pressures, your just calling it to happen right at the same point their blowing out earnings and raising guidance quarter after quarter! That's the part that's funny. Your pointing out the obvious, yes we all know they have a very rich valuation. Lots of companies have a very rich valuation and some have earned it, UA being one of them.
John, why are you still on this board?? All your negative comments on how UA would sell off after earnings even if they beat, what was it you predicted, 55 haha Raising their outlook is not priced in my friend and far from "dead money" as you put it post after post after post............ I'm sure you'll respond to this with several long winded messages trying to give reason instead of licking your wounds and leaving this board forever like you should!
