I think they screwed up by changing the name of the stock. PTBI is famous. Nobody has heard of "ABEO". "ABEO" doesn't show up on Seeking Alpha and still doesn't show up on Yahoo. It will take a lot of work to regain momentum here, and I'm not sure the new CEO has the knowledge to right the ship in the near term. They need some new big name investors or for Soros to up his ownership stake. If not, I might be wrong but it doesn't seem major catalysts will come until later in the year.
indexit , I see you bought JUNO after I recommended it to you two weeks ago. Give credit where it's due and thank me for my recommendation.
They are very long, so they don't care about the day to day fluctuations. Most of that are long are traders too, so we get to watch this stuff like eating stale popcorn at a one star movie. LOL
Maybe the Index shares are already owned by brokers, and they will do a block trade AH. This might take a while to run. Who knows.
The big index fund providers — including Vanguard Group, Dimensional Fund Advisors and BlackRock Inc, must adjust their portfolios by buying the new Russell index stocks on June 26.
With the low float of this stock and the index funds need for shares, we'll be over $8 tomorrow. I'm loaded up. Newbies will be flocking here running this up even more next week.
the_real_biotrader, what about long term bio gems with good prospects? I'm looking at SAGE and RDUS. Any others you like beyond phase III or for M&A?
I think you got handled here today, but we brutalized AERI so I know you know how to make money.
The annual reconstitution of the Russell indexes captures the 4,000 largest U.S. stocks as of the end of May, ranking them by total market capitalization. Membership in the Russell 3000, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the large-cap Russell 1000® Index or small-cap Russell 2000® Index as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.
Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for active investment strategies. Approximately $5.7 trillion in assets are benchmarked to the Russell's U.S. indexes. Russell indexes are part of FTSE Russell, a leading global index provider.
