The CEO of Macys actually was on last night and said that women's shoes and boots were one of the best selling areas followed by beauty products. He also said that the colder weather was driving sales.
You would think he was on vacation for the last 5 months. With everyone else upping their target it certainly looks like he just tried creating a buying or exiting opportunity for some.
Yes, as I've said before it's only one aspect of many factors that go into what direction a stock may move in, BUT, this type of weather is the most significant psychological factor in people making a decision to buy quality boots. They want to know that they will be able to use them often when they buy them. I'm in Charlotte, NC, and UGGS are all over the place and we don't even get much snow. That speaks volumes to me, and as the snow flakes fall across the country I see dollar signs. Tis the season of UGGS and it will be a great New Year also.
Right now that is the case. However, they keep on selling and they keep coming back for more, and more of them. That's right, REPEAT customers who are loyal to a high end brand. With more and more products coming out their market share is growing. They also have other very well made products that are gaining ground. With over seas and online market growth this is a name BRAND that will be here for a long time.
I just want to welcome you as just another clueless tool on the board. If you don't like the stock go find something else to do.
You just have to sit back and wonder what's going through someone's head to call this stock a "turd". It's been one of the top performing stocks in the last 14 months, and is up over 100%. If that's the definition of a "turd", then please, someone help me find some more of them because there isn't enough "TP" to wipe up the profits I'm sitting in.
No immediate need to split. With the stock where it is it's harder for the shorts to get out, let em burn for a while. A dividend next would be an even bigger boost.
Didn't hear this, but it's great news. I will certainly enjoy the holidays this year watching the shorts fry.....
The only thing Deck and 38 have in common is, that's about how much more in dollars the stock will go up in the not to distant future.
Ok, clearly you have way to much time on your hands. You're getting a little carried away with yourself at this point, I'd tone it down a little.
I didn't say it was a game changer, but the continued praise does help. With all the detractors and naysayers in here we just keep the positives noted as well. If you've been in here for a while you would have already known that.
