I'm not a guy. Quad-you are right. I think Baker's take profits too. We have both traded this stock as well as the ones that bash us. Bio is in a slump right now and anyone who wants to dismiss it-Fine, but don't say we are all the same person using alias names on this board because you do not agree that more than one person is posting the truth about bio stocks.
That's great because you can make a ton of money playing this. It goes to 30 and back to 45. That's quite a spread. Good luck to ALL traders, even you RED. Take those short profits.
Prior to KBIOQ-Martell was linked to SVON now trading at .24 and PARDP now trading at .63 and last but not least IMCLONE (remember the insider trading scandal by some of their associates?). How many people have lost their money on these scams? Some take only a couple years as insiders make millions while others linger for 10-15 years hoping to get the stock back up from their freely given shares through quarterly options. So much for corporate governance.
Holdings with negative EPS. INCY went from $133 down to 70. ACAD went from S51 to 20. GHDX went from S35-28 XOMA went from S4.93 to one buck. (Baker's got out at an average price of $5.00 leaving bag holders at a huge loss) BMRN went from $151 - 70 DSCO went from $25 - $2.00 TGTX went from $20.00 - $8.17 ANAC went from $156 - $75.00. Seriously folks, you don't think they just sat there and held these stocks as they went down to the lows of today. Baker's get lucky too (PCYC and Synageva) but looks like they run up these bios and ??? How many wins compared to how many lost. There are many more irons in the fire with their holdings but many have been burned unless they day traded and got out at the top. What's the argument here?
Well guess what-Martell was appointed executive chairman of KBIOQ. Take a look at what happened to the stock last month. Just because you have a seat in corporate governance does not mean a thing. They have filed for chapter 11. This started in 2000 along with hundreds of other bio tech one hit wonders. Like SGEN they also had to pull their myeloma drug because of the failure in the clinical trial. This stock was a high flier just last month and now it's down to nothing. 19998-2000 began the start ups of several now "banko" dream stocks. By the way, Bakers have had plenty of opportunities to sell this stock and have taken full advantage. Restrictions don't last forever. If this was going to get taken out, why not do it when the stock is in the low 30's like yesterday? Is big pharma going to wait for it to reach 45 again or do they think they can get it cheaper? Why did SGEN need a secondary offering only to have it fall off another 11 bucks in such a short time?
There's some new names on this board. Since I must be taking up at least six aliases, you know this is not me posting something as energetic as this but if the ADC forecast is correct SGEN is not the only game in town. Abgenomics-Abaena-Allozyme-Endo Pharma-Formation Bio-Intellect Neuro-Kairos Ther-Menarini Bio-Mersans Ther-Meanarini Bio-Mersana Ther-Oxford Bio-Philachem-Synthon-Zymeworks-and many others that have already gone belly up. 70% of ADC mfg. is currently outsourced. Can all of these win? Can the competition get too strong as everyone enters the contract manufacturing sector for the big money? How many more will come and go in the next 10 years? Just be careful out there. The insiders get rich and move on to the next bio money maker. All you have to do is look at options.
in San Francisco. He purchased a 2 million dollar house in Oct. but had not moved in yet because they were going to remodel (probably another cool million). The city just tore the whole house down because it was threatening other homes. It's in todays paper. Read about him (Martell). Is this the same man who headed up NGSX which is now valued at zero-CLBS that is now 55 cents-KBIOQ at $2.40? If it's the same man, I see several other bio techs associated with the same name. The newspaper today does not give his first name but I have seen several CEO's pay and options in the millions while the bio tech companies go out of business only to move on to another one and have the same thing happen. Type in Martell bio tech CEO and read all the associations to many other bio-techs. Just interesting.
Funny amplicon how I am on ignore but still get all of your responses. Where have I been wrong? Point it out. Selling this stock in the 40's was spot on. Why not; you could re-enter at todays price and start all over again. The long hold is out-take a look at 25% of the stocks out there and tell me they are not down 20% or more. Sell and buy again - cash out and leave nothing but the bag holders.
You are so wrong. I don't know who anyone else is but I am only Fstout. I have not seen anything from Maui but have read quadhole. I am a woman and I think the rest are men. Red had an ego and is surely a man who cannot stand any woman who is right regardless of the tank job SGEN has been on. Time to man up but we all know that is not going to happen. I really think this is still a great one to day trade but as I have said I am finished trading this one. You can ride this a buck each day and still make money. RED is even trading this at 1000 shares at a time for his groceries.
You might want to day trade here. SGEN moves like this quite often and you could make a bundle. I will never enter this stock again but I bought and sold for 2 yrs. It was just a matter of time before this type of trading with this highly speculative stock would start to head south. So glad I was not one of the dreamers.
Who are you and where did you come from? I have been posting on this board for over 2 years and have never read your posts. Have you ever owned SGEN? If so did you do the smart thing and sell at the top?
They spent the profits last year on a special div. and bonuses to the union. They better hope they have a similar year in 2016. I think they should have held that money in case there is a slowdown. Remember when there was a surplus in our gov't and Clinton sent every person $300.00. Now we are 19 trillion in the hole with no way out. You don't spend your rainy day funds. Keep profits for a slowdown to hold you over until the economy recovers.
So we are all the same person? Really? Anyone who posts the truth is me? Too funny. I don't know who lerm14 is but we have heard from scr200 many times and he supported this stock at ttimes so how could that be me? So Red, was I wrong about my daytrading this scam? What about all the other Bio stocks the Bakers were in that went down to nothing. I posted several on this board in the last two years.
Get out of these bio scams. The Bakers used you for suckers and have bought and sold for huge profits.
